Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tuscan Archipelago

A beautiful place. You can see and feel it is not just a random vacation rental but feels like someones home and someone has put a lot of detail and love in the place. Once you talk with Diana, you understand even better: as the owner, so the home :) The house offers all you need to stay there (with your whole family) also for longer than only a few nights. The village is very cute and offers all you need, plus charming bars and restaurants. On top it is a great starting point to go and explore the area/ medieval towns/ nature parcs/ beaches. By car it felt like everything is reachable in max 20minutes. Further you can explore by bike and even start from the town on hikes so: if you get a chance to book, stop searching - hit the button and enjoy your time :)

We spent two weeks in the house while our friends with two small children (1.5 and 5) stayed in the house next door. The property is fantastic, the garden and the view of the sea marvellous - a little paradise. There are plenty of cosy spots and numerous sun loungers. In autumn (October) the hours of sunshine are shorter, partly because the house is on the north side of the island. However, the mornings were sunny and warm and I could imagine that in the summer months you would be very happy about the many nice shady spots. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook simple things. there is also plenty of storage space for groceries or personal items. The bathroom is spacious and very nice. Everything was very clean and the flat is lovingly and cosily furnished. We would book again in a heartbeat and hope it's not the last time we stay there.

We absolutely loved our wonderful stay at Susanna's and Carlo's. The apartment was well equipped, comfortable bed, welcoming interior, the views were stunning. It was really calm and it felt like home. Especially because Susanna and Carlo were such great hosts, friendly, helpful with good advice, they even organised to rent bikes for us. Also, the dog Peppe, gave us so much love, such a sweet dog, we really miss him. We witnessed the arrival of two cute cats and how they met Peppe. It was hard to leave. We absolutely recommend to stay there! Grazie mille per tutto, Susanna, Carlo and Peppe!

Had a great stay at Michele's! The apartment is very newly renovated and has everything you need. We visited during the off-season so we were grateful for the stove providing us warmth in the evenings. Michele was very friendly and helpful, being flexible with our check in and check out times. The apartment is open, except for the bathroom but we made it work just fine. Rio is a nice and quiet little town with a beautiful view and perfect to chill out and relax. Its not far from the ocean either, so with a short drive you will be at the beach. All in all a great place :)

Martina’s entire estate is very peaceful and extremely beautiful. Just remember that it is really off the beaten path. She was so passionate about the property and making people feel right at home. It was one of the more beautiful places we stayed in all of Italy. Make sure to bring food up there with you before going. It is at least 35 min to town, but this is one of those places it is almost not worth leaving. Wish we had more time to stay there.

Welcome, hospitality, communication, view, terrace, parking all perfect! Small things, such as lime on the faucet, uncomfortable sofa in the living room could be improved. Overall a good stay!

Wonderful place, friendly people, beautiful views. We were a family of 4. Here you can rest, relax, think and stop for a moment. You'll feel like you're in paradise. Here you will find something for yourself and your child. Very large, clean swimming pool, jacuzzi, sun loungers, umbrellas. Beautiful orchard. You can play football, table tennis. You can have a barbecue in the orchard, and in the morning when you get up you can drink coffee on the terrace with a beautiful view. The apartment is sensational. Very clean in all rooms. The city is 5 minutes away by car. In the city, there is a variety of shops. You'll find everything you want. From here you can get to many other interesting places. The Captain's House is a place that reconciles you with the world. You can experience beauty for the eyes, spirit and mind. The views are breathtaking, the view from every window is a picture and peace and tranquility are guaranteed. The hosts have created a masterpiece by renovating the house: they have respected the original structure by adding every possible comfort. Andrea and Michael are very kind, they anticipated all our possible needs, they provided us with fresh flowers and fragrant herbs in every room, fresh fruit and everything necessary to "start" the kitchen (oil, salt, spices, etc.). Due to a technical issue, we were unable to use the Jacuzzi for a day and they offered us a dinner to apologise. We've never found hosts of this level. We hope to be able to return to recover those pieces of our hearts that we left at the Captain's House.

Lovely place! Amazing roof terrace that we really enjoyed. The local beach restaurant where you get a small discount served excellent food.

Francesco's accommodation is ideally located in the historic centre of Porto Ferraio. Near the port, restaurants, but nevertheless it is very quiet. The apartment has been renovated and is very functional, the only downside is that it is a little dark, but it doesn't matter, because the main thing happens outside. I highly recommend it.

Charming apartment in a villa, independent entrance and garden, maximum privacy guaranteed in a very quiet setting. Excellent starting point for visiting the cities of cultural interest on the Tuscan hills and those by the sea. The supplies of dishes, towels, sheets, etc. are impeccable, the description on the ad corresponds to what you will find. Marco and his parents are loving, a welcome pleasure to have met them. Everything is perfect, highly recommended.

We had a lovely three nights at Barbara’s apartment. Poggio is a very cute village, and we are very glad we chose to stay there. The square out the front of the apartment is very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting out the front with our morning coffees, being greeted by the neighbourhood cat, Miu!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay, thank you for your hospitality, to all the staff and family. First class, recommended restaurants plus made reservations for us, which were needed, and recommended sites to visit. Rooms were spacious and clean, grounds were beautiful, wine tasting and Stephan’s knowledge of wine making made the tour. We also had breakfast every morning, and one evening had a dinner, recommended. A beautiful couple, so glad we meet them. Hopefully we will be back again.

Great place to stay for a night!

Sandra's apartment was exactly as described: well-kept, clean and tidy. We found the camping cot for our son, the bowls for the dog and also some very welcome breakfast products such as toast, jams, coffee pods, etc. Also outside the house there are many free parking spaces. Definitely recommended.

Lorena's apartment is very nice and super organised. She is very attentive to guests and helpful. The location is great for walking to the beach and the village. Highly recommended

We loved the place! Porto Santo Stefano is peaceful and charming. We took the ferry over to Giglio Island one day and rented a scooter. Really a wonderful little getaway. Thanks Antonio!

Located 3 minutes from the sea, a short walk from downtown and in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We made a nice and available host. For us who come 2-3 times in Follonica, it will be a fixed stop

Filippo was the best host to have. He and his family are the most kind people I interacted with throughout my entire trip to Italy. The space itself is just as it is listed, everything worked perfectly, and we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend staying here. Being on the top floor of the complex gives a great view of the surorunding area and it was cool and breezy with the windows open. I could not have asked for a better experience and homebase for my travels.

Very convenient apartment to reach the beach, equipped with everything you need, naturally air-lit rooms Spaces, bed, sofa more than comfortable. Free car parking in front of the house. Georg and his wife are very helpful in solving any problems. We return home with oil and soap made by them. What can I say... everything was great!

An adorable flat in the absolutely gorgeous town of Montescudaio, on top of the mountain. The view out the bedroom window is truly breathtaking. Alberto was so kind to pick me up from the train station and drive me up the hill on my arrival. The home is seconds away from the bus stop which runs from around 7am to 7pm (outside of those times it is about €30 to taxi up or down the mountain to the train station in the town of Cecina). You can find the basics that you’ll need right in the town itself, but the larger grocery store is down the hill in Cecina. It’s an easy train ride to Pisa (about an hour), Firenze (about 2hr), and even Venice and Rome are only about 4hr by train. Alberto was very proactive about recommendations and responding to questions. Would absolutely stay again the next time I visit Tuscany!
