The lights on the right of the cover picture are the ones of our family house in Forno. The village is located at the end of the Biodola bay on Elba island. This home was built by boat by my grand-mother, a painter who had fallen in love with the place. We manage it for the family. It is located at the limit of the national park, and hence still only accessible by boat or by foot today. It has a private (stone) beach just below the house, and easy access to a small sand beach close to the house.

Il mare, è accessibile a piedi percorrendo un sentiero privato di circa 150 metri che parte dal giardino della casa. La struttura è una villa bifamiliare costituita da due appartamenti con accesso indipendente disposti esclusivamente sul piano terra. L 'appartamento si trova nel complesso residenziale dello Stellino antico edificio rurale in pietra, ben ristrutturato, che sorge in una vera e propria oasi di pace, fra l'oliveta ed il mare , a pochi metri dalla spiaggia dello Stellino, situata sulla costa degli Etruschi tra il parco di Rimigliano e il meraviglioso Golfo di Baratti. A due bassi si trovano Poggio a Mulino e l'antica Populonia e tanti altri splendidi borghi tipici della Toscana.
