Great clean cozy place to see the aurora and ocean!

We (family of 5) stayed for 1 week in Mats great house. It’s easy to get to from the airport, just download svipper app and see which bus you need and pay your ticket in the app. The bus stop Storskogen is not far from the house. The house is big and comfy, the kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfy and there are enough towels, shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper for the whole week. There is also a hair dryer and kitchen towels and enough tablets for the dish washer, etc. The best is the view from the balcony! We saw the Northern lights from there right on our first evening. Amazing! The couch and the dinner table are nice, big and a great hangout. We walked most days back and forth to the city. It’s a 20 minutes walk. Taking the bus is also easy. Streets do not completely get cleared of snow and ice. We were wearing snowboots, my mother walking boots with spikes. We loved our northern lights trip, langlaufen (both via airbnb) and dogsledding (Arctic Adventure Tours)

Hands down the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in! A beautiful, cosy and well-equipped home in a stunning location. A great base for exploring the sights of Tromsø and beyond. We were a large group of 8 people and the house accommodated us perfectly, with a second sitting room upstairs for the kids to chill out in and 5 comfortable bedrooms. We saw the northern lights from the terrace on our first evening and then in even more spectacular fashion on the big bus tour to Grunnfjord. We used the #28 bus to travel into the city centre- service was regular and comfortable and the stop is directly in front of the house. Download the Svipper app for the times and to buy tickets. We enjoyed cooking in the fabulous kitchen and watching the sunset over the mountains. The beds were so comfortable we slept like babies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and responsive. We really appreciated the welcome basket ❤️ We’d love to return. Thank you Thomas and Siren for a wonderful stay.

I really enjoyed this cute little house located in the heart of Senja near all the nice photography spots! House is super cute! And I really liked all the attention to details from the host..such as giving my two Senja beers from a local brewery! Nice touch!

We are a family of 4 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Host was very responsive and even let us know when the northern lights were active. The house was warm and comfortable and has a great view of the city and the water. It is a very short walk to the bus - which was a quick ride into town and was very easy, plus is a short walk to a local supermarket. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Tone and Asbyorn are perfect hosts for the Aurora Hunters. The accommodation has everything you need and is warmed up in cold weather to welcome you. Guests can use the perfectly independent second floor at their disposal and get a lot of advice from the host if needed. If you're thinking about cooking on your own outside of Tromso's high water, it's not as easy to find a place with perfect cooking facilities and seasonings as the kitchen here. We couldn't use it as aurora hunting plan, but you can also use the sauna and barbecue in the snow. Highly recommended for B&Bers visiting Tromso.

We stayed at this apartment for two nights and had a great time. It was well decorated inside and the couch was super soft! The bed was a little small for two people but we made it work. It was easily accessible with a short taxi ride from the airport and was only about a 10 min walk to the main shopping and restaurant spot. Anna was very responsive to messages and let us drop our bags off early before check in so that we could start exploring as soon as we got there.

The perfect location to get into town! It is at the top of two steep hills, but other than that it’s so easy! The place itself is a little tight especially if you are traveling with suitcases, but it’s worth the location.

Really good AirBnb, clean and practical for our last days before leaving Norway although a little small for 5 adults.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back. We were greeted by Gudmund when we arrived who helped us with our bags and gave us a tour. There was a slight misunderstanding over the number of beds made up but that was remedied within the hour whilst we explored Tromsø. The apartment was great, it was lovely and warm throughout. The rooms were spacious with soft beds and warm bedding as well as their own radiator and storage. The bathroom was lovely, with everything you could need as well as washing and drying facilities. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need and was perfect for us during our stay. The lounge area was lovely, looking at the beautiful views from the apartment of an evening. The views surround the appartment are stunning and on a clear night you might see the Aurora borealis as we did. The Hosts are lovely and responsive. Very pleased we booked and we hope to be back again soon.

Fabulous landscapes, comfortable and very well-equipped accommodation, beautiful northern lights to enhance our stay: everything was perfect. Sebastian was very considerate with us and we thank him for the great stay we had in Mefjordvear.

It was a great stay; I felt at home. They had everything I needed, and the kitchen was fully equipped. If anyone enjoys cooking, it would be a great place to stay. However, it was a little noisy in the bedroom, so I would suggest bringing earplugs for anyone who needs an extremely quiet space to sleep. But I got used to it by the next day. The view from this accommodation is fantastic, and I would love to come back and stay again!

The apartment is very easy to check in, whether it is to go to the airport or downtown, there are many public transportation to reach, the station is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment, there is a big supermarket across the street, it is extremely convenient to buy things.The interior is also very comfortable, with the bedrooms, bathrooms being relatively independent from the guest dining room for exploring Tromsø as a base.

Lovely apartment in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance to amenities and the city centre. A really nice space with a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge area and nice little terrace. Comfy beds! Lasse was friendly and helpful. Thanks for letting us stay!

Central location. Spacious apartment. Good amenities. Well maintained. Ingrid was proactive and responsive. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping etc. We really appreciated Ingrid dropping us off to the airport in the middle of a snow storm and a personal emergency. Highly recommend!

We felt right at home. The host was very kind and helpful, The place was very clean with all the amenities and more and every detail thought of :) great for a family and we even got to see the northern lights from the apartment, definitely recommend and would happily come back!

The stay was very pleasant. We were able to check in flexibly and they felt right at home. A minute away is a small shop where you can get everything for a few days. If you had any questions, the host responded quickly and kindly. To get into town you only have to walk 10 - 15 minutes - that was very pleasant. The apartment was clean and well equipped with the most necessary utensils. We enjoyed it very much.

From the moment we booked the accommodation I had a feeling that it would be perfect. Jarl was proactive, flexible and a super host. The accommodation was pristine and had everything you could want. Great views over Tromso, extremely spacious, comfy bed and a balcony where we could watch the Northern lights. Plus a great shower! If we returned to Tromso this would certainly be our first choice.

Fantastic place to stay! Clean, spacious, warm, and welcoming. Super equipped kitchen. Breathtaking views of the fjords with a terrace perfect for spotting and enjoying the aurora! We were able to see it for 2 nights in a row. I highly recommend this home. Super responsive hosts Simple and dynamic check-in and check-out. The only downside: "clean" towels and bed linen were crammed inside the closet leaving you the Doubtful of the real cleanliness. I recommend hosts to keep an eye on the order of closets. Otherwise everything is absolutely perfect.
