Holiday rentals with a sauna in Kvaløya

Great pedestrian apartment in a thorough style. Good beds, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The host will be 5+ and we are happy to come back in the future. Highly recommended

Nice apartment to explore both Tromsö and the surrounding. Well located to reach the airport with 20 min by bus or the other way Tromsö city centre. Bus station infront of the house. The apartment is very spacious one big sleeping room, one big living room, one kitchen unfortunately with window and the best a bathroom with sauna. The later is nice if you come home in the winter from Tromsö or after chasing northern lights at night! Might be even better in the future when repartition on the pool are finished. We enjoyed our 2 days and can really recommend it.

This was an awesome stay! We really enjoyed the apartment with the sauna. In case you were wondering - you really can’t tell you are in the cellar / basement, as the apartment is really clean, has great air and kitchen and hallway have windows. We will definitely come back!

We felt right at home at John's apartement. It has a hallway, a luxurious bathroom with excellent sauna and spacious bath, a cozy living room with a well supplied kitchen and a bedroom with 2 single beds, all private. The view from the living room is awesome, with snowcapped hills across the water. As the apartement is located on a quieter side of Tromsø, above the lights of the houses downhill, we were able to see the Northern lights from the couch and the terrace as the clouds seemed to open up more above that part of Tromsø. John was so kind to inform us on the chances of seeing the lights and also informed us on practical matters. He was there to welcome us when we arrived hours before the official check-in time. We had a great week starting with breakfast with a view, a relaxing sauna or bath, after that a walk up and downhill to the centre (± 30 min) or to the nice park and waterfront and ending the day with a night watching the Aurora. 100% worth it, we would definitely return!

Our stay with Said was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, he treated us like royalty. He went above and beyond by picking us up from the airport, taking us to the swimming complex, and even personally ensuring we had a seamless transition to our next apartment. 💚 Said’s hospitality was unmatched—warm, thoughtful, and always attentive. And let’s not forget the apartment itself: a toasty 30 degrees inside! 🏝️ ☀️ It made us momentarily forget we were in a northern country 😆😎 He made us feel completely at home and cared for every step of the way. This was, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. Warm apartment, very clean and complete with everything you need (kitchen, bathroom, living area). Impeccable communication with the host, Tor-Andre is always very helpful and kind. I really recommend it to stay in Tromsø because it is in a strategic position, well connected with transport and surrounded by many interesting activities (restaurants, museums, etc.). Max a 10-minute walk from downtown. An additional value is the balcony overlooking the sea, which allows you to see the Aurora Boreale, on the clearest evenings. We hope to be back in the future!

Bettina’s home in Tromso is a wonderful home base while visiting Tromso. A very convenient 7-8 minute to downtown Tromso and the airport. The home is super comfortable and had great views! Bettina is an extremely responsive and friendly host. I highly recommend her home and would love to come back for another visit!!

One of our favorite stays! The view was impeccable and it felt right at home. Jani is an excellent communicator and was able to help us quickly to find things around the house and called a taxi for us. We are definitely staying here next time we’re in Tromsø

We've had an amazing stay at Høyrostua! The place is simply perfect to spend a couple of days and rewind. The place is quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. If you are into skiing, it's a ski in, ski out place so perfect! The kitchen is really well equiped, big and clean. We've seen amazing Northern Lights and you can even watch it from inside through all the big windows. Communication with Øyvind is really good! Very fast as well. Thank you so much Øyvind and Hege!

The best Airbnb we have ever been to! The view from the living room was just outstanding. Beautiful house, bright, modern, we felt instantly at home. The hosts Marius and Melinda were very helpful and friendly. Seeing the northern lights was luck, but booking this Airbnb was an even bigger one! Just one reminder: The road to the house is quite steep, so definitely bring robust foot wear in winter!

a wonderful home with all you need for a really comfortable stay. Heidi is a fab host, she helped us get to one of our trips and home again and helped us use the public transport to Tromso. There is an incredible view from the house that was awe inspiring all the time. We saw Eagles flying overhead and lots of sea birds. We all recommend this home.
