What an incredible stay we had! This Airbnb was literally amazing for our stay. We had perfect weather while there and saw the Aurora borealis right from Anita’s backyard. She was super accommodating to make sure we had the BEST experience, thank you Anita!

Lovely, spacious cabin right next to the water. Linen provided, great hot shower. Laundry facilities. Smart TV. WiFi. Parking outside the house. Five minute drive to the parking for the nearest ice climbing. Helpful hosts. Will hopefully be back.

We just spent 8 nights in Thomas & Julianne’s fabulous house. Such a great spacious and beautifully appointed home and we were truly blown away by it. Super comfortable beds and bedrooms for a great night’s sleep. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen and high spec bathrooms. Washing machine and dryer was also appreciated. Very quietly located, but within easy reach of Tromso (approx 1 hour) and 2 local grocery shops to pick up essential supplies. We were there for ski touring and were lucky enough to have tons of powder, but also saw the aurora from the house and close by in a darker (away from house/street lights etc) location. I would highly recommend if you enjoy nature and like a slightly more isolated spot to enjoy your holidays. It was a privilege to stay there and we would love to return.

Lovely interesting old post house right by the ferry terminal. Lovely and warm, with comfortable beds. Tom was great to communicate with before and during our stay. Thanks a lot!

We have been to many Airbnb's none of which were super-expensive or luxurious. Among all the them, Sanija's place clearly stands out as the most comfortable, well-equipped, and extremely clean Airbnb we've ever been too. We were there in the middle of a snow storm and we loved it. We hope we can go there in summer as well.

Jorun was very helpful and thought about options. She had a base in the house for all meals and even some treats with the coffee. There was fresh bread in the freezer. We were welcomed by the Northern Lights. We could just see that from home. A wonderfully quiet and pleasant place, with hiking opportunities from the house. There is also a shop nearby. On the way from the airport to the house there are also beautiful places.

Shorter than expected stay because of an offbeat flight but was a real pleasure to discover Tromsø by staying in Joachim and Heidi's apartment! There is everything you need, the center is a stone's throw away and Joachim and Heidi are accessible, pleasant and responsive hosts, I recommend it!

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment close to the Center. The apt was perfect for 3 and nice and warm we also cooked and had a good time. Thank you Daniel. Communication was also always nice and quick.

We felt right at home. The host was very kind and helpful, The place was very clean with all the amenities and more and every detail thought of :) great for a family and we even got to see the northern lights from the apartment, definitely recommend and would happily come back!

Susanne is a great host, my night flight got delayed and she was awake and stay communicated with me all the way till check in. It's a relief that Sussane is kind to help me with my luggage as the entrance to airbnb was very slippery with ice. It's a value for money stay for a female solo traveller, bus stop is accessible easily during the day time. I have to walk back from the port at night around midnight, but the street is well lit, so it is ok to walk. The house is very nice and cozy, hot water shower runs well. I got to use the washer too, which is great. Thank you, Sussane. ☺️

Great location right opposite supermarket and near bus stops. 5 mins from the centre. Communication with the hosts was easy and responsive. The house stayed warm with temperatures of up to minus 10 outside. The kitchen is well equipped and always available hot water in the bathroom. The only small criticism I would make is as it is their home there is minimal available storage for guests which is a little issue when you need multiple layers for the Winter weather. Tromso is great, airport only minutes from town. Easy access to town and harbour for fjord tours. multiple outdoor snow activities available with minimal driving. We enjoyed snowshoeing and Reindeers. We really enjoyed our time there and always felt warm and comfortable at "home" after fun in the snow outside.

Loved our stay in Tromso. The host is a friendly and kind person who gave us lots of advice. Apartment is cosy and has everything you need. Tromso centre is only around 10-15 mins by bus, bus stop is a couple of minutes walk away. We saw northern lights from the apartment!

Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The place was beautiful inside and out and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, only 15 min from the airport. Ole responded promptly to messages. Would highly recommend!

Wow wow wow! What a wonderful place to stay! We felt right at home as soon as we walked in the house and the beds were really comfortable so we had great nights sleep. It was a beautiful place. Kirsten had very kindly left us some bits in the fridge as the shops were shut. Every time we had a question she responded quickly and kindly. She was also relaxed and flexible. She gave us some brilliant restaurant recommendations too. We have eaten so well in Tromso. We would have no hesitation in returning and recommending Kirsten’s place. Thank you Kirsten and family - we will be back hopefully :)

Roger's home is fabulous! The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a very easy walk to the grocery store and a nice stroll to downtown. Our group of 3 couples spent our downtime around the large kitchen table enjoying the sea views and watching boats and ships cruise by. We appreciated Roger's recommendations for restaurants. We had dinner at Skarven Kro. It was wonderful. Despite the chilly weater we used both the jacuzzi and sauna.

Short walk to shops and restaurants (much better and shorter than it looks on the map) but still nice and private on waterfront. Cable car/cathedral bus stop not too far away. Amazing balconies and beautiful views (was snowing most of the time we were there but could still see faint glow of Northern Lights from the hot tub)! Great kitchen - plenty of plates/utensils/glasses/etc. Lots of dining space, couches, TVs, etc. Bedrooms a little small, but typical for Europe and beds were very comfy and warm. Our 4 year old loved the deep jacuzzi bath. Washer and dryer in the bathroom - which was amazing as it meant we could pack light and do laundry every few days. Appreciated the disposable slippers! Everything easy to find, really good instructions for everything (except maybe ovens but I'm sure if we had messaged Elisabet she would have helped immediately, we didn't really need to use them so didn't bother). Everything was super clean. Really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect in this house. Big and comfortable living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen. The view from living room is just amazing.

I cannot say enough about this house and the location, both were amazing!! The house is beautiful and perfect, fully equipped, spacious, with amazing views. Frank was wonderful, took my kids on his snowmobile which was such a highlight for them! When I stupidly plugged in a heating pad that I brought from home and tripped the breaker, it was immediately taken care of. You must rent a car for this property, and you must drive around to explore the area, stunning scenery and views! Northern lights visible from the property were also amazing. If you are lucky enough to be able to rent this house from Frank for your holiday, do it without hesitation!!
