An excellent place to observe the Northern Lights - and if it is windless, it is reflected in the sea as well. Tromsø city center bus, about 15 mins. This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. Do you want to stay in a beautiful remote place, while still connected to the city? Grøtfjord is located just a 40 min. drive from Tromsø. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.
