Holiday rentals with lake access in Kvaløya

The location of the house is fantastic with a sensational view of the water, ideal for observing aurora lights. The communication and helpfulness of the host Hugo is very good and fast. The kitchen is not optimal for 6 people, but with a coffee maker and oven. The occupancy of the house is ideal for 4 adults and 2 children. We felt very comfortable and had a great vacation. In the winter half year, the "aurora light" app is highly recommended to enjoy unique views.

We (3 adults, 2 childs age 8 and 10) had a perfect week in Ninas house. We arrived late on a Sunday, because all our luggage got lost at the flight to Tromsoe and we needed to wait and check at the airport. But when we finally arrived at the house, everything was prepared already. Immediately we felt like home and forgot all the trouble. The house is very cosy and very well equipped. Especially the kitchen had everything we needed, including spices and some basic food. We missed nothing. The house offers great views over the fjord and at the mountains in the back of the house. The kids had fun in the snow and were sledging down the nearby hills. Nina was very friendly and it was easy to communicate with her. She proactively gave us lots of advice what can be done in the area and where to do shopping. One evening she told us about a good chance to see northern lights. And indeed this night it was a great show in the sky. Thank you Nina for this experience. We had a very nice stay.

Very beautiful cottage , tastefully decorated, a veranda overlooking the arm of the sea, binoculars available to watch the boats, cormorants and seagulls... The mountains and Tromso on the opposite shore. Windows also on the back side of the house, so very bright living room. The beds are super comfortable, the bathroom spacious. I recommend 100% . Wonderful stay.

Cozy place, near airport and supermarket!

We've had an amazing stay at Høyrostua! The place is simply perfect to spend a couple of days and rewind. The place is quiet, clean, spacious and relaxing. If you are into skiing, it's a ski in, ski out place so perfect! The kitchen is really well equiped, big and clean. We've seen amazing Northern Lights and you can even watch it from inside through all the big windows. Communication with Øyvind is really good! Very fast as well. Thank you so much Øyvind and Hege!

Ever was perfect. The house, the surroundings. Perfect place to see the northern lights. And we were able to see a seal as well. Nice sunny days and also to experience the real winter has given the real wow feeling.

We just spent 8 nights in Thomas & Julianne’s fabulous house. Such a great spacious and beautifully appointed home and we were truly blown away by it. Super comfortable beds and bedrooms for a great night’s sleep. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen and high spec bathrooms. Washing machine and dryer was also appreciated. Very quietly located, but within easy reach of Tromso (approx 1 hour) and 2 local grocery shops to pick up essential supplies. We were there for ski touring and were lucky enough to have tons of powder, but also saw the aurora from the house and close by in a darker (away from house/street lights etc) location. I would highly recommend if you enjoy nature and like a slightly more isolated spot to enjoy your holidays. It was a privilege to stay there and we would love to return.

The Airbnb was the ideal place to see northern lights . We saw the lights just in front of the door . Very close to the bus stop and super market and also quiet . The house was clean . Overall , a lovely place . Happy with the stay .

We had a nice stay at this apartment well equipped, functional and close to amenities. Underground parking is a real plus. Our host was flexible on arrival time, we enjoyed it very much.

We stayed at this apartment for two nights and had a great time. It was well decorated inside and the couch was super soft! The bed was a little small for two people but we made it work. It was easily accessible with a short taxi ride from the airport and was only about a 10 min walk to the main shopping and restaurant spot. Anna was very responsive to messages and let us drop our bags off early before check in so that we could start exploring as soon as we got there.

It feels just like home, as the apartment is well-equipped and located in a peaceful area. Roger and Tone are extremely kind, always available for any questions, and very responsive. The accommodation is ideally situated in a quiet part of the city, close to a walking trail and well-served by buses. I highly recommend both the hosts and the apartment. If we return to Tromsø, it will definitely be to stay in this wonderful place!

Stian is a most welcoming host. He was great in communication and allowed for a flexible check-in and giving helpful Tipps. Since Tromsø is a very expensive place to go, this flat is a good value. it is small, but when you look for a place to stay for just a couple of days it's great. easy to get into town by bus and the supermarket is also close by. would always book again

The Airbnb was the Best experience I had so far. Everything perfect, Henriette even picked up us and drove to the place.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment of Eirik and Ingrid very much. Upon arrival, Eirik was present to hand over the key and explain things about the apartment. He also responded very quickly and kindly to questions. The apartment is on the ground floor of the house. On a dead end street, very quiet. The apartment had everything we needed for our week in Tromso. Walking distance to several bus lines to downtown Tromso and the airport. Tromso city center was also easy to walk to. A supermarket, the Arctic Church and the Fjellheisen cable car are in walking distance. We have also been able to use hiking poles and snow chains for under your shoes. As a icing on the cake just outside the apartment, we were able to see the Noorderlicht beautifully,😊 in short, the apartment is absolutely recommended if you want to visit Tromso and surroundings! We'd love to come back!

Hakon’s studio is a perfect place for solo traveller and has easy access to the city center. I recommend this place.

Jorun was very helpful and thought about options. She had a base in the house for all meals and even some treats with the coffee. There was fresh bread in the freezer. We were welcomed by the Northern Lights. We could just see that from home. A wonderfully quiet and pleasant place, with hiking opportunities from the house. There is also a shop nearby. On the way from the airport to the house there are also beautiful places.

What an amazing house! We enjoyed the view, the soft beds, the cozy living room, the well-equipped kitchen, the tranquility. We felt right at home. And what a location! Everything was great! Stig was incredibly helpful and came to help us personally when we had problems with the heating. One of the most beautiful places we've already stayed.

Exceptional location with superb fjord views, Svetlana has provided us with wood for good and beautiful flare-ups when returning from our beautiful ski rounds. The house is ideally located to climb the ski peaks of the North of Senja and we made the Luttinden and its hallway with a departure from the house...TOP Svetlana's house is very nice and we'll be back next year for the third in Senja.

Incredible surroundings. We were fortunate to have a crisp clear night when the Aurora appeared above the house. We also had lots of snow which was great fun for walking, sledging and playing. The hot tub is a wonderful indulgence.

We have taken an autumn trip with our family to this house in recent years. Here we are very happy. It is quiet and peaceful surroundings, and the house is cozy and well equipped. There are great outdoor areas, both in terms of the garden, the shore and the forest nearby. Frode is nice to communicate with and responds quickly. We would love to come again and highly recommend the house to others :)
