An absolute Gem of a place in Tromso! Easily walkable to the city centre (15 minutes at most, even in the snow). The added parking space for a car was brilliant. The place is cosy and just what you needed after a day exploring the city. Even though the place is attached to the main house we didn't hear anything and felt like we had our own private space. Great host, great communication and would definitely recommend if in Tromso for a couple of nights. Thank you.

We loved our stay. The accommodation is just as described, with views that exceeded our expectations. The place is perfect for a relaxing, care free holiday. The bed was very comfortable and the block out blind was appreciated given the early sunrise. The bathroom was clean with great shower pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed to make 3 meals a day and a supermarket was in easy walking distance. The living area was ideal to return to after outings and soak up the views from a comfortable couch or lounge chairs. Ørjan was a wonderful host, who helped us with any queries and even tried to help us with a rental car charging issue. I’d recommend this place without hesitation and hope to return in the future.

Central to the city center, about 25 minute walk downhill from the apartment to the city. The apartment is cozy small, modern and equipped with everything you need. Would book again :-)

The host was quite detailed and provided necessary information well before the time. our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Car parking was right outside the door, which was very convenient. the bnb is equipped with all the necessary facilities, clear instruction are provided for facilities inside the house too. Highly recommended

We were 6 kids (15-19) and 5 adults and the house was perfect. The adults on the second floor, the kids under the roof had their empire. In the living/dining room there was enough space to chill and play. The kitchen was large and well arranged for this group. The location was great to reach from the airport, the bus stopped less than 5 minutes away, behind the house was the direct access to the mountain and the trail. And most of all: Anette was super helpful, always very quickly accessible and nice. Conclusion: a great house, which has allowed us a wonderful Arctic adventure and a super host (actually 6 stars)

Anita and Björn are amazing people! We were well received, showed us and explained everything the cabin. Invite us to extend to them at home for tea with pastries Anna made including strawberry jam and homemade raspberries. Get to know a little bit of local people - it's her one-of-a-kind life, that's why we love Airbnb. The latte is cute, has all the basic and necessary things. The bedrooms are upstair with quite steep stairs, at night it is a bit difficult to get down to the toilet. We got along with a family of 4 people. For 3-4 nights it is quite reasonable to stay in the cabin and compromise on the comfort of a larger, more well-equipped home (and also more expensive). Total pretty good value for the price. The Great Benefits - Perfect location to see the Northern Lights. We saw a few times right next to the house. There is also a nearby car park 3 minutes drive. There is a natural slide in the garden and the kids played for hours in the snow and slide. The sauna is just something extremely rare - a must try, unusual experiences! With sea view and warmth with trees. (Extra charge).

Truly an amazing experience at Thomas’s house. It embodies the spirit of a typical, authentic and cozy norwegian hytte with everything you need, add to that the view over the fjords and the sauna in the backyard and you’ll feel like in a Hallmark movie during Christmas. We also saw the Northern Lights from the cabin 2 nights in a row. The communication with the hosts was very easy and efficient. I truly recommend it to anyone loving nature, peace and quiet :)

We enjoyed our stay. The house is really inviting and comfortable. The hosts lived in the apartment below but remained very discreet. The view from the living room and bedrooms is really beautiful from morning to the little evening lights. The house is very well equipped as if we were at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Gunnar's apartment - what a view! The apartment is on two floors, spacious, well equipped and lovely and warm. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the outside deck. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and it's an easy 20 minute walk into the main area of town for bars, restaurants and museums. It's an 8 minute walk to Polaria bus stop for the 42 bus to the airport. We highly recommend.

Phailin's place was beautiful. the location was superb with a great view. There is a supermarket very close by and the bus stop is very close as well. The connectivity to the main city and airport was very very good. The place was exactly as described, and had all the amenities. Phailin was very helpful and responsive. She had stocked up the kitchen well and we could have a good meal easily. we had a great time. we were traveling with two small kids and Phailin's place was perfect for us

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The location is perfect – close to the city and many great spots in the area. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view: we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the hot tub or the terrace – truly magical! The house is cozy and well-equipped – everything we needed was there. The two bathrooms were especially convenient and made our stay even more comfortable. Communication was excellent – always quick and reliable. Thanks to Lill Heidi’s great tips, we even got to see reindeer, which was an unforgettable experience! Thank you for the amazing hospitality – we would love to come back anytime!

The place was super nice with a lot of love in detail. You could always write if you had any questions and he always responded quickly. And the location was super nice. Right on the sea, it looked like painted. I will definitely come back and have already recommended it to friends. It was a great experience I will never forget :)

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. It was spotless and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and very close to public transportation. We were in Tromsø chasing the northern lights and I couldn’t have imagined a better accommodation.

Erik and Line were really great hosts, they responded quickly and check in was easy. They provided us with some tips for local restaurants and activities in the area and gave clear instructions for checking out. Entering Kai-Andre's place I felt like I was walking into my own home. Everything we needed for our stay was there. Cleaning products, coffee and tea, shower gels and shampoos, etc. The kitchen is very well equipped and nothing is missing, which was important for us, who like to cook our own food!! There isn't a washing machine, as far as I could tell. Admittedly, I never asked for it, since we didn't really need it. The house is very warm, especially the bathroom floor, where I loved warming up my feet upon returning from skiing! Kai-Andre is very friendly and super responsive, should you need anything from him. He gave us helpful info to get transport into town and always replied to my texts within minutes. The location was ideal for us, who were not interested in being in the city centre. Catching a bus couldn't be easier, as you only need to walk across the road to the bus stop! What else can I say? I'd love to visit this place again, and hopefully to stay at Kai-Andre's place!
