Our stay was perfect! The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed . The sofas were comfortable and the shower was very hot. The fact that it's far from downtown didn't get in the way of anything, we even walked there most days. The neighborhood is quiet and very beautiful, it was good to be off the tourist route. We saw the dawn of the door of the house. There is bus stop 2 blocks away, and the line runs from the airport to Fjellheisen, passing through the center. We went to the supermarket on foot, it's not very far. The noise of the airplanes and the house above did not bother us at all. Gard was very attentive and always responded very quickly. I would definitely host again and highly recommend the location.

Staying with Bjorn was a great experience: the host was responsive and communication was timely. Location of the place is great: it is well connected with the airport and the center of the town, but it is also quiet and close to the biggest lake on the island. I strongly recommend it.

Silja's place was a highlight during our trip to Tromso. It's located near to a beautiful lake, easily accessible by public transport and is a beautifully furnished home to stay. The house was very well quipped and had everything we could as for. Silja was extremely helpful and friendly. Would love to come back to this place if life gives a chance!

One of the best places and locations you can stay in Tromsø. Is it quiet and peaceful. The scenery is extremely breathtaking during the whole day. I saw the northern lights at this place at most days. It is 2 minutes away from a bus station that takes you to downtown and 10 minutes walk from a supermarket. Ørjan is really responsive and is a really cool and chill guy. He helped me a lot and was really flexible. I highly recommend this place. Couldn’t ask for more.

The location boasts stunning views, ample heating in each room, and the highlight of our stay was witnessing the Northern Lights from the balcony. I highly recommend this place.

Stunning views over the water from the lounge and fun to watch the planes coming in to land. Very peaceful location. There is public transport but we hired a car as didn’t fancy waiting around in the winter. We drove down to Mestervik (about an hour drive) to do some dog sledding which was fun and a great way to see the beautiful landscape.

Functional studio. The bed is very comfortable for two. Supermarket 3 minutes walk and bus stop to get to the city center very close. It was perfect.

We had a group of 8 stay at Anette's home and we had a wonderful time. Annette was a great host, she was flexible and kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late. The home was clean and had all the amenities we needed for our week there. Annette had a binder with all kinds of local recommendations for restaurants and activities that we found very helpful. We rented a car to use and were able to get around to downtown Tromso and the surrounding area very easily. It was the perfect home base for our arctic adventure!

What an incredible stay we had! This Airbnb was literally amazing for our stay. We had perfect weather while there and saw the Aurora borealis right from Anita’s backyard. She was super accommodating to make sure we had the BEST experience, thank you Anita!

Very pleasant stay in a quiet environment. We were able to observe the Northern lights several nights from the grounds behind the sauna. There is a beautiful view of the fjord from the accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is really inviting and comfortable. The hosts lived in the apartment below but remained very discreet. The view from the living room and bedrooms is really beautiful from morning to the little evening lights. The house is very well equipped as if we were at home.

We had a wonderful stay at Gunnar's apartment - what a view! The apartment is on two floors, spacious, well equipped and lovely and warm. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the outside deck. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and it's an easy 20 minute walk into the main area of town for bars, restaurants and museums. It's an 8 minute walk to Polaria bus stop for the 42 bus to the airport. We highly recommend.

The best Airbnb we have ever been to! The view from the living room was just outstanding. Beautiful house, bright, modern, we felt instantly at home. The hosts Marius and Melinda were very helpful and friendly. Seeing the northern lights was luck, but booking this Airbnb was an even bigger one! Just one reminder: The road to the house is quite steep, so definitely bring robust foot wear in winter!

Hands down the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed in! A beautiful, cosy and well-equipped home in a stunning location. A great base for exploring the sights of Tromsø and beyond. We were a large group of 8 people and the house accommodated us perfectly, with a second sitting room upstairs for the kids to chill out in and 5 comfortable bedrooms. We saw the northern lights from the terrace on our first evening and then in even more spectacular fashion on the big bus tour to Grunnfjord. We used the #28 bus to travel into the city centre- service was regular and comfortable and the stop is directly in front of the house. Download the Svipper app for the times and to buy tickets. We enjoyed cooking in the fabulous kitchen and watching the sunset over the mountains. The beds were so comfortable we slept like babies. The hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly and responsive. We really appreciated the welcome basket ❤️ We’d love to return. Thank you Thomas and Siren for a wonderful stay.

Great stay in Fjordgard. Nice house, very well equipped with a wonderful view. We strongly recommend.

Spacious apartment with plenty of space and fully equipped kitchen, even coffee was available. Very kind and helpful people (Thomas&Anne) who could be found right on the upper floor for questions. The apartment was ideal for us, bus stop right in front of the door with bus directly to the center as well as to the airport in less than 15 min. Shopping is within walking distance and otherwise a great location to live in. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back to Tromsø!

What a lovely place. The location on Håkøya is very peaceful yet very close to the center. The view from the apartment to the sea and Tromsø is beautiful. The apartment is well appointed and very spacious The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. Karstein and Ida Marie are very friendly, extremely helpful and very good hosts. It's a beautiful house, just beside a school. It's cozy and clean. Kai is a wonderful host and helped with every small thing even with a language barrier It's a little away from the city but bus num 42 drops you right at the house so no major issues there. Just remember to figure out a mode of transport back after aurora chasing as buses stop around midnight and taxis charge a bomb! A comfortable, amazing stay ❤️

We felt right at home. The host was very kind and helpful, The place was very clean with all the amenities and more and every detail thought of :) great for a family and we even got to see the northern lights from the apartment, definitely recommend and would happily come back!
