Beach house holiday rentals in Isle of Wight

Beth's place is fantastic. The beautiful views through the big picture window were just amazing. The house is lovely with many thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. I would highly recommend Beth's place to anyone visiting the island. It's a great base to get around and a lovely place to come back to.

The lobster pot was beautiful place. Fantastic views and beach. Restaurants near by were lovely and relaxing. The place was perfect for family of 4. Watching the sail boats while eating breakfast / dinner was amazing. Warm weather allowed us to eat on the patio watching the sea and some boat races. Everything we needed was provided, for self catering. Neat clean and tidy. The kids loved the lobster theme. I can’t fault the place.

We were a multigenerational family group , including young grandchildren, wanting a nice relaxing holiday by the seaside, with things to do for everyone. The Gate House was exactly what we needed, with lots of room and excellent facilities! We had shared time and privacy with large communal living and dining space and a lovely enclosed safe garden and outdoor dining facilities. We knew the area but the recommended dining options were excellent. Great beers from The Bus, excellent wood fire pizzas from the beach pop up, great burgers by Fat Shaun and a Greek takeaway from the Piano bar.,with Sunset drinks in The Albion. An easy short walk to the beach, which though a bit pebbly was an ideal location on the sunny days for family fun, with Sandcastles. The sea was good for paddling, jumping and swimming and easy access to the cafe for drinks and ice creams. Sam and Simon were excellent hosts and we have no problem in recommending this fantastic holiday venue and hosts!

Lovely stay. Very clean, nice garden area and walking distance to Yarmouth. Great views. Some considerations if planning to stay... The layout is with kitchen and living area on the middle floor, one bedroom upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Worked fine for us but worth bearing in mind if young children as the room with bunk beds is a long way from the other rooms. There are also two tables seating four each so can't all eat together if a large group. The parking is a bit tricky if two cars as to park next to the house one car has to go in the garage which is a squeeze for a large car/can't open the doors properly. There is free parking a short distance away though as another option. Overall it was great

The perfect spot to relax and unwind. Hilda Cottage is beautifully styled and furnished, with everything you can possibly need and more! Squeaky clean, comfy beds, a secluded garden and plenty of seats for a party of six. Perfectly located just a hop and a skip to the sea, and the coastal path. Down the road from a very well stocked Co-Op and a fabulous pub. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Crab and Lobster, and frequented the bar on numerous occasions, it’s so close!!! The Harbour View made for a very pleasant coffee stop too! The amazing weather truly was the cherry on top. We had the most lovely stay! We felt right at home, it was beautiful and comfortable and we were in complete awe the moment we walked in. The amenities were perfect. Cannot fault anything! Kate was extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. She made us feel so welcome and was extremely responsive. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back to stay again.

We couldn’t have asked for any more. The house was perfect for us - 3 adults and two kids (11yo and 13yo). More than enough space for us all with the 2.5 bathrooms, well furnished rooms & perfectly equipped kitchen. I’d brought a few basic essentials with us but everything that we needed was already provided. It was clear that there’s a lot of pride taken in the house - it was clean and finished to a high standard - that goes for the little things like the bed linen & towels too. The views are beautiful & it was an easy walk into the town & to the beach, where there was a great pub with evening entertainment and delicious food. We drove around the island so didn’t use the public transport but the guide of the local area was really helpful and Mark came back quickly to any questions that I had. The bottle of wine and snacks left for us was a really nice touch - thank you. Would highly recommend.

Certainly! Here’s a short review you can use: ⸻ We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Solent Landing. Everything was to our satisfaction — the accommodation was comfortable and well-equipped. One of the highlights was the location; we could easily walk to all the places we wanted to visit, and the area offered everything we needed. It was such a relaxing change not having to use the car at all during our stay. A lovely spot for a peaceful and convenient break!

Caron's caravan is well equipped and spotless. It has a homely feel and is nice and cozy come the evening once curtains are pulled. Caron herself was very contactable and quick with her replies. There was a welcome basket for us on arrival and a little something for the grand children. We had the best time.

We had a lovely stay at this lodge, it was a great location for us visiting family and getting around the island. The property had everything we required and a lovely view. Jenny was really helpful and very responsive to any messages from the point of reserving through to the day of our check out. Thank you for letting us stay Jenny and we will be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at this lodge on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Tucked away in a peaceful caravan park just a stone’s throw from the sea, it offered the perfect mix of relaxation and seaside charm. The location couldn’t be better—waking up to the beautiful sea view and being able to stroll down to the beach in just minutes was absolute bliss. The on site pool and playground were the perfect end to a day exploring for our kids, all the staff here were friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The accommodation itself was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. Everything we needed was there, from towels, a well-equipped kitchen to cozy beds and a lovely lounge area with the most stunning uninterrupted sea views . It felt more like a boutique coastal retreat than a lodge! Can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re after a romantic escape, a quiet solo retreat, or a family break by the sea, this gem has it all. Thank you Rob :)

Fantastic caravan and a fantastic host. Exactly as described and well stocked with everything we needed. The park is in a great location with a 5 minute walk down to the bay and the facilities and activities on site were also very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Easy to find ,about a 25 minute car journey from ferry terminal to the site. Very quiet and peaceful, not a lot to do on the site but this is what we want. Does have a club house and a restaurant and swimming pool. Plenty to do out and about Amazon Zoo 25 minute away, Sandown & Shanklin just down the road Will be back again to explore the rest of the Isle of Wight Found Crystal very helpful when needed.

A lovely house with a fantastic pool. Chris was a great host, very helpful. The beds were super comfy and the kids loved that the house had so many hiding places to play hide and seek.

Lovely characterful house in a quiet location just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Friendly and welcoming, with lots of homely touches. Great little suntrap courtyard to make the most of the good weather. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic week staying at this property with our family group of 11 plus two dogs. The house was absolutely perfect for our needs - spacious, stylish and very well thought out for hosting a larger group. We especially appreciated the open plan kitchen/ dining/ living space which made our family meals and evenings together really enjoyable. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The welcome pack was an added bonus. The beds were all comfy and the showers good - always plenty of hot water for all of us. One of us has an electric car and it was a great convenience to be able to charge it up overnight on the driveway at the property, another reason for booking this house. We enjoyed spending time in the garden - plenty of seating there. The property was in a great location in the lovely village of Seaview being only 5 minutes walk to the beach. There were also wonderful views of the Solent from the back bedrooms. Highly recommend.

A lovely spacious and clean, well equipped comfortable house. Nice location close to the beach and esplanade to Cowes. Great food (and sunsets) at the local pub. Highly recommend.

What a lovely house. Great location, lovely and quiet. Really spacious rooms that have been nicely decorated. On arrival we were welcomed with bread, milk and delicious Isle of Wight tomatoes! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thank you Carl for an amazing stay! There were 4 adults and two children under 6 and the villa had everything we needed. The treats on arrival including milk and biscuits was a touch and there were lots of basic kitchen items which were very helpful. Bonchurch is a very quiet place but walkable to Ventnor and we enjoyed the walk along the coastal path. We also enjoyed visiting Shanklin beach, which was a short drive away. The accommodation had everything we could have needed including 3 amazing bathrooms which for 4 adults was a big treat.

Lovely spacious house over 3 levels, even with 6 adults and 3 children it never felt crowded, space for everyone. Great location so close to the beach, with amenities close by and an easy flat walk into Cowes.

This cottage is so beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice. It is full of character, decorated and furnished tastefully and with all the equipment needed for a great stay. Inside is much bigger than we expected, the kitchen/dining room has plenty of space for cooking and eating, the lounge is spacious and comfortable. Upstairs the bedrooms are great and the bathroom is lovely. We had a fantastic stay and all wished we were there longer - we would definitely come back and highly recommend to others. We had an amazing long weekend! The house is even better than the pictures super clean, with amazing facilities that are very suitable for toddlers. The owner kindly provided stair gates and a cot bed, which was a great help. The beach is just a 2-minute walk away, and everything is very close by. Highly recommended! We can’t wait to go back again.
