Waterfront holiday rentals in West LA

This was a perfect place right across the beach, an easy walk near a bunch of great food places! Chris was very nice and welcoming. If I am ever in Santa Monica again this would be my first option!

Tony is an excellent host and we will try again to stay in one of his apartments when we return to MDR.

David was an amazing host and very attentive to detail. His place was beautiful and very clean. He made sure we had everything we needed and was very communicative. The apartment is right next to the beach and in a quiet Neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon.

We had a great stay at Peter’s place in Marina del Rey. The home was clean, neat, and exactly as described. Peter was a fantastic host, very responsive and always quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here!

My husband, two girls, and I absolutely loved our stay at Ollie’s place! The location is perfect, and sitting in front of that window every morning with my coffee is something I’m going to daydream about nonstop. We walked right out to the beach every morning after breakfast, and Ollie had chairs, toys, and much more for us to use on the beach. Her breakfast each morning was such a treat! We couldn’t get enough of her delicious baked treats. Ollie is so kind, and is super quick to respond with anything you may need. Thanks Ollie for the best family vacay! ❤️

Such a fun beach cottage to rent; Michael's home was so charming to stay at and you can tell that a lot of thought was put into the aesthetics, amenities, and convenience of what they offer their guests. The off-site parking was one block away and very easy to get to and in/out of and so much more convenient than trying to find street parking. The home inside was really lovely and in a great location; two blocks to the beach and in a fun part of town along Main Street with a lot of retail. I absolutely will be booking again when my travel brings me to the LA area!

Nice studio close to the beach and the everything Malibu has to offer

Loved the location on the peninsula. We were able to walk to the beach, to restaurants and really enjoyed being able to use the rooftop deck. Beds were super comfortable and the place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was very helpful also to have the garage for our car and e-bikes since parking is such a challenge in that area. Appreciated our host being available for any questions on arrival and throughout our stay. Hope to visit again!

Old beach house with amazing location! Bay side was perfect for our younger kids. Will is so nice, responsive and gave us great recommendations for restaurants in the area. Would definitely recommend

Kyle's place was great. It was actually roomier than expected and a very warm feel to it. Great ocean breeze and great views. Within a short distance to some very nice bars and restaurants (Liv's oysters we're fire!) I would definitely stay there again.

Great place. All the photos and descriptions were accurate. We celebrated our daughter’s birthday and we had a good time having it there.

I needed a place to stay for a friend's wedding in Topanga, and lo and behold, this was basically the closest possible accommodation. Without knowing, I actually ended up staying here with several of the groom's family members. This is a collection of cabins on a property off of Old Topanga Road (only 5 minutes from "downtown" Topanga). While slightly off the beaten path, it is easily found if following instructions and the map closely (the address is marked at the entry, and there is even some illumination to make it stand out at night). Check-in is easy & flexible. Each cabin has its own theme and decorated in a cozy, homey, and rustic fashion. While these are definitely cabins in the woods, they are clean and have full amenities. I enjoyed the cool, crisp, clean mountain air and the peaceful, tranquil, and (mostly) quiet setting (you may hear the occasional rooster or roadster). I wish I had more time to explore the surrounding trails. Recommend for a Santa Monica Mountains getaway!

My family had a great stay! The house was amazing, the views and sliding patio doors to open up the house to the ocean was awesome. The house is secluded enough that it felt very private and quiet but still close enough to all the restaurants and stuff to do. We basically had that area of the beach all to ourselves throughout the whole stay. Also just across the Main Street, a 2 min walk you have access to the bay with beach and calm shallow waters for younger kids. We were all obsessed with this home and def plan on coming back. Host was amazing and helpful. Thanks again!

We had a great stay at Amanda's condo. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, which we really appreciated. The location of the condo is excellent and the views are spectacular. The beach is a very short walk from the condo, which is well equipped with beach chairs and other beach amenities. The Stand is also right down the Hill, where one can bike or job along the Ocean. There were also several very good restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Overall, it's a great place to stay with a very cool feel in a really beautiful setting in a location that has a cool vibe and makes us want to come back someday.

Yese is a very responsive host. Her place was absolutely beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. I was able to cook several meals in the well stocked kitchen and it was easy to feel at home in this place. We would stay again!

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

My family and I had an amazing stay here at Linda’s beach house! Everything exceeded our expectations. The house is located right on the beach, which made it super convenient with our kids!! There is also beach gear available which was another a total life saver, we were able to use the stroller, bikes, beach toys, boogie boards and beach chairs 🙌🏼 my kids had so much fun, they didn’t want to go home 😂 The house was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful beach views. & Linda was a phenomenal host!! She was so kind, welcoming and communicative!! You can tell she truly cares about her guests having a great experience. By far the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back for another trip!!! 🫶🏻

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely studio apartment conveniently located just a short walk from the water. In fact, everything was within walking distance! In the future, whenever we stay in Long Beach, we will be checking for availability here first. The apartment was spotless and well maintained. The bed was super comfy, too! I drank my morning coffee on the balcony and just enjoyed the view. The building felt very secure. The clearly detailed instructions Nico provided made the check-in process stress free. And, when we did have any questions, Nico was very attentive and always responded within minutes. We had no issues with the parking garage and were confident our vehicle was in a safe location. Ultimately, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed under the Airbnb umbrella.

Family get away with our adult “kids”. Perfect spot to enjoy the beach, close surf spots and walkable to local eateries. Pool and hot tub are a great add! Just the right place for us!
