The open-plan living area features a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable seating, and a wood-burning stove, perfect for cozy nights in. Step outside & you'll be greeted by the beautiful natural surroundings. Relax on the spacious deck & take in the views of the surrounding trees, valley & mountains.

Shekinah Hermitage: Peace at the Forest’s Edge

Shekinah Hermitage is at 8000ft. overlooking the Cibola N. F. This unique cabin looks into a canyon to the north, and eastward over the San Agustin Plains. Surrounded by juniper and pinion trees, it is very remote. Windows all around give the feel of being outdoors but the solid structure is immovable in high winds. Inside is all you need including limited solar-battery 120V electricity. There is an attached bathroom with a sawdust composting toilet. Outside a high deck offers stunning views.

The Missile Base / Bunker property with its former upper level underground Launch Control Center as your PRIVATE APARTMENT and a Utility Tunnel that leads to the Missile Silo nearly 180 feet deep, with much of its original floors still intact. Learn what it took to operate one of these amazing sites. The major construction/refurbishment areas have been renovated into an unbelievable underground home and office. Time Capsule is a unique experience in an space age module dropped in the middle of an 11 acres desert sanctuary and sculpture park, adjacent to the Saguaro National Park. Enjoy the quietness of the desert in a safe environment located at just 35 minutes from downtown Tucson. Because of the refinement of the interior design we cannot accept any pet, service animal, nor children in the Time Capsule. Please note that check in is in person only and not later than 10:00PM. No exception!
