Holiday rentals with breakfast in Otari, Kitaazumi District

It was smooth and flexible from the exchange of messages in advance, and the room and kitchen were stylish, clean, and we had a comfortable stay.Breakfast, such as handmade carrot soup from ingredients, dressing, jam, and rice flour bread made by the neighbors, was packed with not only delicious, but also heartfelt warmth.🫶 Personally, it was a valuable opportunity to become more interested in permaculture, organic vegetables, and fair trade.It was fun to hear Yoko's experience, including Australia, and I heard personally what I was thinking about, and it was nice to come all the way from Saitama! In the summer season, where vegetables and other vegetables are grown in the fields, I can also climb mountains and I look forward to visiting again.☺️🌿

Saiko is a very friendly host. She is so nice and attentive. Location is excellent. We got to Hakuba pretty late and the place being so close to train station was very helpful.

Daniel and Sui were amazing hosts, a sweet couple, who spoke great English, fluent Japanese, and Mandarin. Daniel took us back and forth to Hirata train station in the mornings and evenings. from Hirata station, it's 6 minutes to Matsumoto Station. we couldn't find any lodging near Matsumoto station which is how we found the airbnb. We didn't explore anything near the Airbnb but Daniel did take us by his vegetable gardens. Matsumoto is a great city to explore with delicious food. Sui prepared locally grown organic Fuji apples, Asian pear, and persimmon as well as teas and coffee. They had a fire for us and we felt very comfortable in the shared living room and kitchen. we were able to borrow their refrigerator and both days Sui prepared fruit for us to take. she also taught me more about Japanese culture (we share a Taiwanese background). my daughter was very comfortable with both the hosts and wished to stay longer. I enjoyed meeting them and hope to see them again! thank you!

The starry sky and sauna were extraordinary and really great! The food was also very delicious. The futon was also fluffy, and I was able to sleep slowly without air conditioning for the first time in a long time. Please take good care of the accommodation forever. I'd love to go again.

Adorable people in a very pleasant environment, surrounded by nature. Available for a drop off in the area if you are without a vehicle. The stay could be even more pleasant if the equipment in the bedrooms was more suitable…(bedside lamp, towel rack for bath towels).

it was a great stay with good level of proactive communication and privacy. The location is quite remote but you can still walk to the house and there's taxi available from the nearest station Nyuzen. Thank you so much for making this great stay happen!

Saiko-san really cares about her guests. she was very welcoming when I needed to make a last minute booking and the room was just what I wanted. Saiko-san provides breakfast for everyone in the morning and obviously takes pride in ensuring that he guests are comfortable and have had a good night's sleep.

The house rules were set in detail, so I was able to prepare them in advance!Due to the inconvenient location, it was a different-world location like in a picture book, and I was able to refresh myself the best.🌳

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

It feels like a very comfortable chalet, the room is very clean, there is a restaurant in the homestay, very convenient

Stay was 100% satisfied, very neat, well organised and well maintained. Justin was exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive, it made me feel right at home, felt like staying again and gave references to my friends.

Yuu-san welcomed me for the New Years holidays even though I made a reservation in the last moment. He and his family are very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed exploring the traditional New Year's meals and the musical selection every morning :) This artistic home is in a peaceful countryside area and great if you need to disconnect and find your creativity. Leti and Pedro were a highlight of our stay. They made us feel right at home, very lovely and easy to chat too. The lodge is very cosy, has everything you need. The beds were comfy and the tv in the room is a great addition. the drying room for snow gear is great and the free breakfast was always delicious. Their beautiful dog was very cute and friendly! the location of the lodge was perfect. Close to everything and the bus stops. We loved our stay and we will be back:)

Great location and in walking distance to Happo village. Shuttle bus to nearby slopes and staff very friendly and helpful.

Honestly, such an amazing and warm place. The authenticity is so strong. Seeing the history of the family and the connection to the sports is a delight. The calmness of the region was very mindful and we loved the host. Such a nice family, very kind and just perfect. Thank you for the stay.

Seong Mi and Yoshi are the best ! They really take care of their hostel as well as their hosts. They gave me plenty of recommendations and advices. They also made sure I had everything I needed. I felt very welcoming here ! The room is perfect for a stay in Yudanaka. Their partnerships with Onsens around are a great way to enjoy different baths. In my opinion, it's even better than having their own Onsen inside the hostel. All the shared spaces are clean and well furnished. It's the perfect place to enjoy a traditional woodhouse. The location is also great, close by foot to the convenience store, drugstore, local restaurants and to the train station / bus hub. It makes it easy to go to any major spot in the area, from Nagano city center to the hiking trails / ski centers of Shiga Kogen. Just book it here and enjoy a peaceful time in Yudanaka 🙏

Was a really nice stay! Great location for the snow, really good breakfast and clean spaces. The staff were super helpful, we really enjoyed our stay!

I can’t imagine how my ski trip would be if I didn’t stay at their place

This little place is a gem and the hosts are amazing! Though you can’t ski in/out, the hosts will give you a lift to any resort for the day and pick you up. They can also drive you to the restaurants in Akakura town. You can even order dinner in and the food was delicious! I would stay here again if I was visiting the area in the future.
