事前のメッセージのやり取りからスムーズ且つ柔軟に対応してくださり、お部屋・キッチンもお洒落で綺麗で、快適な滞在になりました。具材から手作りのキャロットスープ、ドレッシング、ジャムやご近所の方が作った米粉パンなどの朝ごはんは、美味しいだけではなくて心のこもった温かさが詰め込まれていました🫶 個人的には、パーマカルチャー・有機野菜・フェアトレードについて更に興味を深める貴重な機会になりました。オーストラリア含めて陽子さんの経験談も尽きることなくお聞きできたことが楽しく、私自身が今考えていることも親身に聞いてくださり、埼玉からはるばるやって来て良かったです！ 畑でお野菜なども育つ夏の時期に、山登りも兼ねてまた遊びに来れることを楽しみにしています☺️🌿

Saiko is a very friendly host. She is so nice and attentive. Location is excellent. We got to Hakuba pretty late and the place being so close to train station was very helpful.

Wir hatten eine gute Zeit im Takanoyu. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich. Die Lage direkt über dem Sento gibt einem gute Gelegenheit mit Leuten aus der Nachbarschaft, ins Gespräch zu kommen 😊, im Bad, aber auch im Vorraum bei einem Bierchen. Hiroto-san, seine Familie und Mitarbeiter sind super hilfsbereit und sehr liebe aufgeschlossene Menschen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Empfehlenswert 😁!

Daniel and Sui were amazing hosts, a sweet couple, who spoke great English, fluent Japanese, and Mandarin. Daniel took us back and forth to Hirata train station in the mornings and evenings. from Hirata station, it's 6 minutes to Matsumoto Station. we couldn't find any lodging near Matsumoto station which is how we found the airbnb. We didn't explore anything near the Airbnb but Daniel did take us by his vegetable gardens. Matsumoto is a great city to explore with delicious food. Sui prepared locally grown organic Fuji apples, Asian pear, and persimmon as well as teas and coffee. They had a fire for us and we felt very comfortable in the shared living room and kitchen. we were able to borrow their refrigerator and both days Sui prepared fruit for us to take. she also taught me more about Japanese culture (we share a Taiwanese background). my daughter was very comfortable with both the hosts and wished to stay longer. I enjoyed meeting them and hope to see them again! thank you!

星空、サウナが非日常で本当に最高でした！ お食事もとってもおいしかったです。 布団もふかふかで、久しぶりに冷房なしでゆっくりと眠る事ができました。 どうかいつまでもお元気でお体に気を付けながら宿をお守り下さい。 是非また行きたいです。

There's two reasons you might want to book this wonderful space. The second reason is the "secret" you will want to tell your friends about. But first... The first reason is simply that it is a traditional Takayama home with the "authentic" experience of beautiful tatami mats and architecture, hosted by the most kind and lovely owners. It's literally across the road from a stunning series of shrines and temples, the onsen next door is available to guests, and you get a whole floor to yourself to come and go. The OTHER reason is why this will eventually be a legendary place to book. Namely that the owner is famous music producer from the 80s/90s, who worked on movies like Akira, TV like Cowboy Bebop, and hundreds of pop albums. His wife is also an accomplished singer. This is THE place to book for a quiet, creative, and productive space to write a book, music, or make art. Takayama is stunning as it is, but to be surrounded by legendary music history? Amazing. I'll be back!

it was a great stay with good level of proactive communication and privacy. The location is quite remote but you can still walk to the house and there's taxi available from the nearest station Nyuzen. Thank you so much for making this great stay happen!

Saiko-san really cares about her guests. she was very welcoming when I needed to make a last minute booking and the room was just what I wanted. Saiko-san provides breakfast for everyone in the morning and obviously takes pride in ensuring that he guests are comfortable and have had a good night's sleep.

とても綺麗な宿でした。 窓からの景色もよく、落ち着いた雰囲気でした。 ただ、チェックイン時にオーナーが不在で、従業員に聞いてもちょっと待ってと言って、暇そうにしていました。 チェックインまで30分ほど待たされたのが、少し残念なポイントです。

Stay was 100% satisfied, very neat, well organised and well maintained. Justin was exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive, it made me feel right at home, felt like staying again and gave references to my friends.

Yuu-san welcomed me for the New Years holidays even though I made a reservation in the last moment. He and his family are very kind and welcoming. I enjoyed exploring the traditional New Year's meals and the musical selection every morning :) This artistic home is in a peaceful countryside area and great if you need to disconnect and find your creativity. Thank you for your hospitality!

Leti and Pedro were a highlight of our stay. They made us feel right at home, very lovely and easy to chat too. The lodge is very cosy, has everything you need. The beds were comfy and the tv in the room is a great addition. the drying room for snow gear is great and the free breakfast was always delicious. Their beautiful dog was very cute and friendly! the location of the lodge was perfect. Close to everything and the bus stops. We loved our stay and we will be back:)

Great location and in walking distance to Happo village. Shuttle bus to nearby slopes and staff very friendly and helpful.

Honestly, such an amazing and warm place. The authenticity is so strong. Seeing the history of the family and the connection to the sports is a delight. The calmness of the region was very mindful and we loved the host. Such a nice family, very kind and just perfect. Thank you for the stay.

Seong Mi and Yoshi are the best ! They really take care of their hostel as well as their hosts. They gave me plenty of recommendations and advices. They also made sure I had everything I needed. I felt very welcoming here ! The room is perfect for a stay in Yudanaka. Their partnerships with Onsens around are a great way to enjoy different baths. In my opinion, it's even better than having their own Onsen inside the hostel. All the shared spaces are clean and well furnished. It's the perfect place to enjoy a traditional woodhouse. The location is also great, close by foot to the convenience store, drugstore, local restaurants and to the train station / bus hub. It makes it easy to go to any major spot in the area, from Nagano city center to the hiking trails / ski centers of Shiga Kogen. Just book it here and enjoy a peaceful time in Yudanaka 🙏

Was a really nice stay! Great location for the snow, really good breakfast and clean spaces. The staff were super helpful, we really enjoyed our stay!

This little place is a gem and the hosts are amazing! Though you can’t ski in/out, the hosts will give you a lift to any resort for the day and pick you up. They can also drive you to the restaurants in Akakura town. You can even order dinner in and the food was delicious! I would stay here again if I was visiting the area in the future.
