Kihachikan South Nozawa Onsen

Kihachikan South is a luxurious and homely family chalet. It has three bedrooms; one double, one twin and one smaller single room. The light filled, open plan kitchen and living room features a locally made oak kitchen that includes a Miele oven and induction hob and Miele dishwasher. The kitchen is fully supplied with all the main amenities including; a rice cooker, toaster, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking utensils should they be required. The comfy sofa seating area focusses around a cast iron pellet stove and the latest Bang & Olufsen television and sound system including live feed from the ski hills and Netflix. The daily readings from the traditional barograph will keep you ahead of the weather apps …….. possibly! The bedrooms maintain a traditional feel with shoji windows, wooden beams and authentic wall coverings with the addition of discreet blinds, wooden flooring and western style beds. The bedroom wardrobes in Japanese oak were made to order in Nagano. The bathrooms include walk in showers with locally made hinoki shower benches. The upstairs bathroom with both slate and wooden flooring also contains a separate seating area and large bath tub. The upstairs bathroom enjoys great views over to Togari and Mount Myoko. Dyson hair dryers are supplied in the two main bedrooms. The artwork throughout the Kihachikan South is a mixture of original Japanese woodblock prints and an extensive collection of original 16th & 17th century antique maps of Asia. Kihachikan South has a Miele washing machine and separate Miele clothes dryer.The ski, board and boot room is downstairs and shared with Kihachikan North and contains snow shoes for guest use (when available).

30 seconds on foot from Myoko Kogen Station. It is located in front of the bus terminal station with easy access to multiple ski resorts such as Akakura, Suginohara, Madarao, and Lotte Arai. Minimise carrying heavy boards and boots. You can enjoy touring the ski resort even without a car.It is a convenient location for those who are worried about driving on snowy roads. 120 ㎡ · 3LDK can be rented as a whole floor, and can accommodate up to 8 people. It is ideal for family trips, group stays, and three-generation trips. You can bring up to 2 small to medium-sized dogs. Fully refurbished in 2026. All water facilities (bath, toilet, kitchen) and furniture and appliances are new, and we value a clean and comfortable stay. The living room has a pellet stove, so you can relax with the flickering flames. Enjoy the "time to gather in the same space with everyone" that you can't experience at a hotel. Please check in advance ・ The entrance is on the 2nd floor of the building, and you can use the stairs from the road. ・ There is a restaurant on the first floor of the building.You may hear sounds or smell scents depending on the time of day, but the entrance is completely separate and the accommodation space is independent.

We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. The house has a drying room in the basement, a guest room on the 1st and 2nd floors, and a kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Baths, outdoor baths, and hot spring facilities are also within walking distance. There is also a shower room in the house. There is a kitchen so you can cook, and there are many restaurants so you can enjoy delicious food. 2-minute walk to the bus stop to the slopes 5-minute walk to the nearby slopes Parking for one car is available

58 square-meter one-room (hall) wooden warehouse structure - The bedding is futons There is a toilet in the accommodation (hall)　 There is no bath, but there is a hot water shower. There are several hot springs about 20 minutes away by car. - WiFi (network environment) available ・ No smoking inside the hall (inside the accommodation facility). There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. The accommodation fee is 6,500 yen (due to rising prices, the price will be raised) We do not accept last-minute reservations (please book at least 3 days in advance)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
