You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle subsides, and it's a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba/Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or multiple nights. There is also good access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe, and it is suitable for group trips, family trips and long-term stays.With a washing machine and bathroom dryer, it's comfortable for extended stays. You can get here by public transport, but it's more convenient if you have a car. Free shuttle service is available to Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers can be arranged for 2,000 to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, please consult with us in advance as we can arrange car rental. There is still availability on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips during the second half of the summer holidays, as well as for couples and small groups.

Come and experience a real hideaway. We have created a special space where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly relax. The interior is compact but calm, with the warmth of timber, and from the window you can enjoy the changing faces of the forest through the seasons. It offers a luxurious experience of waking up in the morning to the light of the mountains and gazing at the star-filled sky at night. It is also ideal as a base for skiing, backcountry activities, hiking and forest walks, and is recommended for couples or partners looking for a stay in harmony with nature. It is also in the centre of Hakuba Village, so please enjoy a special time just for yourself in the tranquility of the Northern Alps. We can also pick you up from Nagano Station. Please let us know if you would like us to. We will provide seamless service without you having to wait in line for a bus. You can use it as a summer resort during the summer season from July to September. During the day, there is a cool breeze and the temperature is around 20°C, so it may be a good idea to have something to wear in the morning and evening.

Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. 🍃 ‘Nüek’ is a small traditional kominka house located in the Kurohime Kogen highlands in Nagano, which has been restored as an entire accommodation. The renovation was attended by Studio Sayapu led by Mr. Kitazawa, an artist based in Nagano.Focusing on Mr. Kitazawa's sensibilities, the company's craftsmen brought out the power of the old private house and finished it into a space that quietly accommodates sophistication while making use of the taste. It is cool in summer and in winter you can enjoy skiing and snow scenes.While surrounded by nature, time passes as you gently prepare yourself. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
