The interior is compact but calm, with the warmth of timber, and from the window you can enjoy the changing faces of the forest through the seasons. It offers a luxurious experience of waking up in the morning to the light of the mountains and gazing at the star-filled sky at night. It is also ideal as a base for skiing, backcountry activities, hiking and forest walks, and is recommended for couples or partners looking for a stay in harmony with nature. It is also in the centre of Hakuba Village, so please enjoy a special time just for yourself in the tranquility of the Northern Alps. We can also pick you up from Nagano Station. Please let us know if you would like us to. We will provide seamless service without you having to wait in line for a bus. You can use it as a summer resort during the summer season from July to September. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. It is also close to sightseeing spots such as Togakushi Shrine, and is a great base for sightseeing. Forest Village, located in Daiza Hosshoike, about 10 minutes by car, has a zipline and field athletics. There is also a horse riding club nearby, where you can enjoy horse riding. Adjacent to the inn is the owner-operated farm "Mamayu Farm Togakushi", where you can experience harvesting. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
