Located right by the Shinanomachi Interchange, with Lake Nojiri about 5 minutes away, you can enjoy a stay here all year round with plenty of activities. Recommend 2 nights or more (discounts available) 7 people is best In the summer it is cool and the water is cold. - In the cold winter of 10 degrees Celsius, you can stay warm and comfortable from your feet with underfloor heating. Two toilets and the first floor are flat floors, so you can use them safely from children to the elderly. Kurohime Ski Slope is a 5-minute drive away, and there are many ski slopes within a 30-minute radius, so you can enjoy a variety of terrain. A simple BBQ and fire pit are available for free. On bad weather days, you can play darts, Jenga, and ping-pong indoors, or visit the nearby hot springs and sauna. In the forest, insects and animals coexist. Snow can be troublesome. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. It is less than 5 minutes walk to many cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter.
