With summer's Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base, head to the spectacular scenery of the Northern Alps. You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, after the bustle of summer, you can enjoy the slightly calmer atmosphere of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. It is recommended for those who want to spend a relaxing time in Azumino, as well as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi and Tateyama-Kurobe.We also cater to group travel, family travel and long-term stays.The washing machine and bathroom also have a drying function, so you can stay comfortably even for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free shuttle service is available to Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within a 2-hour one-way limit.For 5 or more people, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult with us in advance. Enjoy the view of Lake Nojiri, with a private sauna, Anoie (あの家)

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

A 1000 square meter private villa with 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We offer each "way of spending time". After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example. Surrounded by nature, you can relax and enjoy an extraordinary time. < Winter season November-March > The outdoor bath is closed during the winter months.

We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!
