The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, as a base for hiking, biking, fishing, and sup golf, the snow season is also a great base for winter sports, including skiing and snowboarding. Private rental of a 130-year-old house with a traditional Japanese sunken fireplace, wood stove, and Goemon bath

This is a private rental inn in a 130-year-old house that the host renovated himself. In the house, there are thick beams that give a sense of history, a view that seems to go on forever, a traditional Japanese sunken hearth that feels nostalgic, a warm wood stove, and a Goemon bath outside. We hope you can feel the essence of living in the countryside while experiencing the slow flow of time in the countryside. For meals, you can bring in ingredients and cook them in the kitchen, which has an IH heater, fridge, microwave, and toaster, or you can grill the ingredients on the lava plate or in the Irori pot on the Irori fireplace. There is also a field behind the house, and depending on the season, you can harvest fresh vegetables and eat them as they are. There are two types of baths, an indoor unit bath and an outdoor Goemon bath where guests can light the fire themselves. The bedroom is tatami mats and futons. The bedroom has air conditioning for a comfortable night's sleep. Reclining chairs are available on the wooden deck, so please enjoy the view of the countryside.

This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noise. Because it is a house nestled deep in the mountains, we do our best, but there are insects during the warmer months.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves are dancing. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's never an easy home to live in, but with a great view and experience. Tourists in the most walkable neighborhoods of Hirano ward will find a car isn't necessary to get around.
