A simple yet rich rural life that has continued since the Edo period!

Spend a relaxing time with friends around the Irori fireplace. You can enjoy the Goemon bath, kamado, and old-fashioned slow life while feeling the season with the wind and sky patterns (there is a cassette stove, IH heater, and shower). You can also cook with a wood stove and BBQ outdoors. 　10 minutes by car from Izumo City Station. Izumo Taisha is 25 minutes away. There is also a hot spring nearby. The 20 tatami mat Japanese-style room is a private bedroom, and the kitchen and toilet are shared. There is a design office in the warehouse, and I work from 8:30 am to 6 pm on weekdays. You can also use the thatched cottage with a good view. 　There is also air conditioning, but in the summer, if you open the veranda and hang a mosquito net, the summer night breeze will invite you to sleep comfortably. From spring to autumn, you can hear the nostalgic sounds of frogs, cicadas, and bell crickets. 　If you are unfamiliar with charcoal or fire, I can help you if the timing is right. Firewood is free, but please bring your own BBQ charcoal if you use the sunken hearth. It is 1.6 km to the supermarket and 5 km to Izumo Station. It feels good to walk or jog along the Tanabe-michi Road and Kawato-te in the early morning. Please keep pets on the dirt floor. In July and August, please pick blueberries from the garden.

This is a single rental villa with a dog run in Kiyokawa Village, the only village in Kanagawa. The Koayu River flows right next to it, and you can hear the pleasant sound of the river during your stay. From the large terrace connected to the living room of the fully renovated villa, the lawn and countryside spread out in front of you, creating a pleasant space. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, you can enjoy the best time in nature, watching the stars in an infinity chair, taking a bath in the open air after a sauna, and having a BBQ. The tent sauna has a rain cover on the chimney, so you can enjoy the sauna even if it rains a little. You can enjoy the private sauna with Satoyama Aroma Lowry as many times as you like during your stay. The terrace has an opening and closing awning, so you can enjoy a BBQ on the terrace even if it rains a little. We recommend that you stay overnight and relax in the sauna and BBQ during the day. The BBQ, sauna, pizza pot, and fire pit, which were previously paid, are now all free of charge. Firewood is also free of charge. There are many popular spots nearby that are frequently featured on TV, such as Miyagase Dam, hot springs, Ogino Bread Factory, Hattori Ranch, cafes, and tree adventures.

Shodoshima, 30 seconds to the sea, you can see the sea from any room

This house is located on the quiet seaside of Shodoshima Town. It is a house built just to watch the sunset over the sea. Unfortunately, we have a lot of stairs on the terrace, so it's not barrier free. (I will do my best to help with your luggage, etc.) However, at the top of the high terrace, the calm and beautiful sea of Setouchi, sparkling with sunlight, and the changing faces of the crimson sunset await you every day. Please enjoy an extraordinary time and forget about the time. You enter the room by climbing the terrace stairs. It is not barrier free. Please be sure to have an adult accompany you when going up and down stairs with small children. Also, there are many stairs on rainy days, so it may be inconvenient. Also, the road in front of the inn is not paved. Please note that this may cause some inconvenience. There are many insects because there is a lot of nature around the house. Insects may enter when windows or doors are opened or closed. (Especially at night, insects gather in the light of the inn) We are very sorry, but please refrain from staying if you don't like insects.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

Our cottage is located on a hillside on the Southern tip of the Izu peninsula. It is surrounded by lush forests, mountains and our fruit and vegetable gardens, with a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean. The cottage is suitable for long term stays. This tranquil space would be a lovely retreat for people interested in the country lifestyle, or those who are looking for a secluded setting to work, focus on creative activities or enjoy a quiet holiday without disturbance.
