Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Japan

Loved this place and felt right at home. A beautiful apartment, really safe and secure in a quiet residential area but only a couple of minutes walk to major train stations/bus routes. Great host, really helpful communications and checked in on us a few times via text

Wouw it couldn't be any better!! masa is such a nice guy and very welcoming! upon arriving we felt welcome, he explained everything and went his way. he had answers for every question we had and helped us to the best of his ability. upon arriving we gave him some Dutch gifts ( fridge magnet of a wooden shoe with tulips and a pack of stroopwafels) this shook him but he accepted it with a smile from ear to ear! the accommodation was clean and well taken care of, plenty of room for 2 people and really close to Ebara-machi station, which we used the most to get around. friendly people around Ota and the 7-11 around the corner is also very helpful! next time we are planning to stay longer! Domo arigato gozaimasu masa-san!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. The room is very clean and large, the kitchen is well equipped, there is a bath tub, a vending machine at the door, and a 711 next to it.But it's not very friendly for people without a car, you have to go up a particularly steep slope, it's inconvenient to take a taxi with your luggage.There are two rooms, the rooms are sunken, and it is not very convenient to take luggage.But the air conditioning is pretty good.I feel that it is suitable for people who have a chef and driver at home to come on holiday, and it is not suitable for students to come for team building.

Kureishi and his Airbnb are something very unusual! From the beginning, when he waited for us at the ferry dock with a self-mortarized sign, to explain the islands to us and drive us back to say goodbye in person. The place is exactly as on the pictures, but the pictures don't show the wonderful atmosphere that the little house / place has! In the morning there was breakfast and in the afternoon even the garbage was taken out and fresh towels brought. Leaving the Airbnb and especially Kureishi was like leaving an old acquaintance you just learned to like and actually don't want to leave! We are already planning our recurring trip to this beautiful place and the warm and welcome smile from Kureishi!

this unit is superb!!! very nice and clean, responsive host, very helpful as well. I will sure return again for my next trip, it's near to train station and many eateries, good location.

We will properly heal and return to the accommodation that is so relaxing and peaceful. I will miss the morning of greeting birdsong in nature. I also really enjoyed the traditional Japanese grilled experience with the host family. We will make unforgettable memories in a beautiful traditional Japanese house. It was a pity that I only stayed for 2 nights, but I will definitely visit again next time. I'll see you next time with the friendly and warm host family!

Location is a bit far from sites but good that it’s not too crowded. Lots of space and two separate shower/bath facilities and toilets is nice with a family. The place was accurately described and takeshi was a great host. He gave a lot of helpful recommendations and responded quickly to questions.

What a beautiful place! Stayed only one night, unfortunately. The view, the outdoor hot tub and interiors were perfect. A great place to relax even for just one night!

The entrance to the house was just outside the tunnel, so without prior explanation, I would have passed it by.Thank you very much. I enjoyed it because it was an overwhelming play space! The sunset was also beautiful.On a clear day, you can enjoy the starry sky.There were also instructions for the sauna and BBQ stove, so we were able to use them smoothly I'll use it again.

It was a very luxurious inn with everything you could want in a completely private space. The place was very clean and stylish. The quality and location of the sauna, jacuzzi, infinity chair on the wooden deck, and large bath were perfect, and we had the best experience as a couple who love saunas. If I had to say one thing, the kitchen facilities are very well equipped, but the optional meals are not great, so I think it would have been better to bring our own ingredients and cook.

The location was nice and very secluded, we were originally worried that the parking spot was too narrow, but the parking spot for a medium-sized car was just right.The house has two floors, it is a little troublesome to carry luggage (probably too many luggage), the double bed on the first floor is very comfortable, the underground is a tatami bed, we are not very used to it, so there was a bunk bed (the owner packed it up).The inside of the house is very clean and elegant, there are also two floors, there is plenty of space in the hot spring room, and we also enjoy the hot spring every day.There are also many attractions along the way, it is a very perfect place to stay ~ We will come again next time, many attractions have not been visited yet! Wow! Where to start? The hospitality at this place is unrivaled! Amane and Takashi were more than our hosts, they became our friends and showed us a piece of Japan I think few people get when visiting. It rained the whole time we were there and we still has countless things to do! I have limited space for this review, but the biggest thing that stood out for this Airbnb were the hosts. Our rental car failed and we know very little japanese, but our hosts went above and beyond to help us through this tough situation. In addition they gave us many recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and each one was outstanding! Lastly, the location is breathtaking! We do wish we had better weather, but hearing the ocean waves, rain on the trees, and whinnying of the ponies and the view of Beppu across the cove made this an experience we will never forget. Do yourself a favor and book this place if you are staying on the area, including Beppu...you won't regret it!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Its a beautiful house, decorated very well and stylish, and feels like quite the authentic local experience. Every detail is well thought out, for example the very nice coffee beans with drip/grinder instructions etc. We felt so welcome and an honour to stay here. Kohei has provided us with some very good food recommendations in the area, we were able to use the e-bikes which made it super east to get around. The house is in the middle of the town and everything is within walking distance, location wise it couldnt be better, we really enjoyed staying in this town rather than the busier/more touristy Takayama (which is an easy 15 mins train ride away).

The house is really nice and the view is amazing. You are able to get t a hold of the host right away and he is very helpful if you have any questions or request.

This place is amazing, especially after a few days in bustling Tokyo. It felt a little too secluded at first, until we could figure out taxi service. We spent a lot of time in the onset, which was magical, only went out once to the open air museum/to pick up food. We were away a little too long: it’s a great place to rest and read and chill. Good to take a break from eating out as much as well. It could be cleaner in spots but the deck, the hot springs and views are worth it.

We had a wonderful stay here. The setting was beautiful with an easy walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the patio and taking in the tropical garden with the house's cat. The home was very neat and comfortable. We highly recommend this place.

The wooden house is very comfortable and cozy, very similar to a ski hut hhh, the audio-visual room is very convenient to use, and it brought a lot of fun to our trip ~
