Monthly Rentals in Mendip District

Tanya was friendly and helpful but respected privacy. The Forge was comfortable (the bed!) and cosy (log fire burning on arrival) with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was doing a weekend gardening course at Homeacres, just a few minutes walk away so perfect for my needs. The good pub next door is busy at times but not noisy at night - they don't always serve food so check first. Thanks for the hot cross buns Tanya!

Really enjoyable, peaceful stay. Friendly hosts who had some great local knowledge of the area. Extremely tasty preserves for breakfast!

stayed overnight for a off road event loads of parking which was great for a car and trailer the place was immaculate definitely reccomend the mendip inn for food aswell great experience all round

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Maggie and Rob's beautiful thatched cottage in Mells. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and constantly found ourselves wishing we were there longer. The village is beautiful, welcoming and very walkable, with discoveries and gorgeous scenes around every corner. All the locals are very friendly, and the staff at The Talbot made us feel right at home too. Mells is a brilliant location for exploring the region - many great towns and sights are within easy drives. We particularly loved Shaftesbury, Wells, Bath and Bradford on Avon, amongst many others.
