Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mendip District

We stayed here for 3 nights as we were going to a wedding locally. Angus was very friendly, and responsive to messages and dropped by with his dog to introduce himself. The accommodation is lovely and very well equipped. The bed is also super comfy! There’s a really nice garden with sitting area outside the patio doors too. We highly recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay again.

We had the best stay here! It is such a unique and comfortable place to stay. The location is perfect for everything in Frome and Mei is such a welcoming and helpful host.

We had a fantastic stay at Lyns place. Perfect location for Wells, lots of bus services available. We walked into wells on two of the days and caught the bus to Glastonbury. It’s a lovely property with plenty of light and plenty of space it was a shame we had to come back home, already missing Wells :-)

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

One blink away from Babington House, a very homely cottage and lovely sunny garden to relax in! Also really well located to get in and out of Frome but super private. A very relaxing few days :)

Penny and Jon are fabulous hosts. They make you feel at home and bring warm croissants around each morning. They made recommendations of restaurants in walking distance and the short walk down the lanes was idyllic - we even picked wild asparagus - which is also served in the local pub. Would highly recommend a visit to this part of the world. We will definitely return in the future.

Lovely place to stay close to the town centre. Easy to find. Only issue was we arrived in the dark and there was no outside light so slightly tricky to locate the lockbox. Sally was a great host and let us know how to enter the property.

The Garden flat is a very clever conversion above a triple garage. Great use of space- beautifully decorated , clean and very comfortable.Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. Lovley touches loke bits for breakfast and fresh flowers from the garden.Very peaceful area. Good clear instructions on how to find the flat. Very friendly and responsive hosts. Would highly recommend.

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

absolutely gorgeous place to stay for a romantic get away. extremely comfortable bed, everything you could need in the flat itself. fantastic location to visit the key attractions in Bath itself. will definitely be visiting again, thank you 😊

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

A beautiful apartment in a superb location. The hosts are incredibly kind and friendly, and we really appreciated the breakfast provided. It’s also a very clean and smart space, and the bedding is super comfortable.

Me and my partner stayed here for the night and it was a really lovely, cozy and spacious Airbnb! Richard had provided everything we needed and more! As well as this, it was extremely clean and well decorated. Richard communicated really well, check in and check out was super easy. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to stay in this area.

Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

The 3 weeks that I spent at Nina’s with Betsy, Minou and Suki as roommates were my most cherished weeks of 2025! Nina’s place is spotless, pretty, cosy, just everything to make you feel right at home. She’s a wonderful host, who became a friend. The city is the just spectacular and truly heals! It was lovely staying at Jessica's. She made us feel comfortable and welcome. The room is wonderful with a stunning view of Bath, and waking up to it was a pleasure. Her kitchen and garden are lovely too. While having breakfast, you can take in a panoramic view of Bath. While the house is easily accessible, the location makes it quiet and peaceful. The bed was really comfy too and we slept really well. We had a really packed 2 days and walked about a lot, so getting to rest at such a lovely, welcoming space at the end of the day was brilliant. Jessica is very knowledgeable about Bath and gave great recommendations. Meeting her was as much a pleasure as the stay!

Mike was a lovely host. Welcoming, warm and interesting. He communicated really well before and during my stay. The house and room was lovely, as was the beautiful cat Angel. I had a comfy couple of nights' sleep and had everything I needed. Mike was especially helpful for helping my friend when she broke down outside his house after dropping me off one night! He was incredibly helpful and generous and we are both so grateful for his help. Would love to stay again next time I'm in Frome :)
