Cabin holiday rentals in Kvaløya

We spent a fantastic week in an exceptional setting and a functional and cozy accommodation. A true haven of peace that is very much worth a visit!

This cabin is outstanding, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful 6 days here while ski touring in the Lyngen Alps. The cabin is really well located and it was a total luxury to come back and have a hot tub and sauna to ease the tired legs. It is beautifully furnished, very cosy and the kitchen has all you need to cater for yourself. It was really useful to have use of the washer & dryer as well. Jorgen & Nina are great hosts, they provided lots of information before arrival and answered any queries instantly. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Super place and great location

Dear Anne, thank you very much for having us! We have stayed at Anne’s house for almost two weeks and with two different companies: first with friends and then with my husband’s parents. We had amazing time both times. The best things about the house: 1. The view is incredible. Having your first cup of coffee with this view is priceless 2. The house is right on the ski slopes. We could ski in/ski out, making it easy to go ski even for a short period of time 3. The jacuzzi is amazing. We used it sometimes during the sunset time and sometimes late at night for Aurora watching 4. You can see Auroras right from the living room and the jacuzzi is really the best for watching them since you don’t get cold 5. This is the best stocked house I have ever stayed at - it had everything. We could really feel that it’s Anne’s second home, not just a rental house Anne is great as a host as well: friendly, responsive and helpful. We felt welcome and had the best time!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It was just as described – cozy, clean and with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was lovely and gave us peace and proximity to nature. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome. We would love to come back and highly recommend this cabin!

Jeremias and Mariella's cabin is beautifully located and very lovingly furnished. We really enjoyed the time with them and would go back to this place at any time. Had a lovely stay at Kjersti’s cabin. Beautyful surroundings in a peaceful location close some Senja’s ski locations. Will come back sometime and bring my dog!

We had an amazing time in Vengsøy! The cabin, the view, and the island were like something out of a Norwegian winter fairy tale. Maria is incredibly friendly and offered us many great tips about the area. She's very warm and welcoming. We did the hike to Hundbergtinden, and it was absolutely breathtaking – we were the only ones there! Vengsøy, the cabins, and especially Maria are highly recommended. We hope to return soon! ❄️❤️

Visited Bente’s fantastic cabin for the 4th or 5th time - we just love the view and the location is very good for ski touring especially in the northern part of the Lyngen area.

The airbnb is a great place. It is publicly accessible by a ferry from Hansnes. The views are great for the sea and the mountains. We were lucky to see the northern lights right outside the airbnb! Hilde was very responsive about my queries. She was proactive in letting me know about the weather in advance and also notified us about potential time for seeing the Northern lights. if you're looking tor a cozy Airbnb, publicly accessible and great location, this is it! Very nice place. Close to nature. We were lucky enough to observe a fishing eagle from the cabin in the morning and the northern lights in the evening. We will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises. A big thank you to you May-Tordis for hosting us in your cabin.

Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

Beautiful cosy cabin which was spacious, and had a view flanked by the mountains and the sea. Camilla and Thomas were very proactive in offering us directions and instructions. The cabin was well equipped. We were also greeted with the Aurora all around us all the nights that we were there. Wonderful place; would recommend.

We felt right at home and absolutely nothing was missing to have a nice time in the cabin. Svein and Siv are very warm hosts who make you feel welcome. We would have liked to have stayed longer!

Highly thoughtful host. Comfortable and very well-equipped chalet located in a quiet area. Very nice view. Shops 10 minutes by car. We highly recommend this address.

Very nice place to stay with well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom and plenty of space. Plenty of firewood for the fireplace for cozy evenings. The hosts went above and beyond to respond to requests immediately. All in all a clear recommendation!

The cottage is nice and was a great place to stay on our ski trip.

We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views that was away from other people and private, but not totally remote. This cabin was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. You could see the Northern Lights on clear nights from inside the cabin, with mountains in the foreground. A great place for photography. The log burner was fantastic with an unlimited supply of logs and the WiFi was great. The cabin is in the region of the Lyngen Alps. Siri was an amazing host keeping us updated on conditions in the area when the weather changed. She let us know when there was a high risk of avalanches, when the road had been temporary closed and when there was no water in the whole area due to an avalanche. She told us where there was a collecting point for everyone locally to get fresh water from and arranged for someone to be there for us. The next day all was fine! This is life in Arctic Norway. We loved it! We would definitely stay here again.
