Charming and lovingly restored farmhouse in the countryside of Franconia. Built in 1581, the Kirchenstraße (Churches Street) Haus stands with tranquility over 430 years later. It's seated next door to St. Bartholomew's Church, where the bells chime harmoniously on the 1/4 hour. Oberdachstetten is a village of 1600 with a train stop, and close proximity to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and Nürnberg. Our charming townhouse from the 19th century is in the heart of the Middle Franconian small town of Lauf a.d. Pegnitz right next to the historic Wenzelschloss. It combines old sandstone walls with an urban lifestyle. In the immediate walking distance is the city center with good shopping, top restaurants and cafes. In about 25 minutes you can reach the city center of Nuremberg, the airport or the Nuremberg fairgrounds. The hiking paradise of Franconian Switzerland is also not too far away.

We lovingly restored our old farmhouse in 2016. The indoor climate is pleasant because the whole house is equipped with wall heating and clay plaster. It is located in a small place with only a few houses and is particularly suitable for nature lovers and people looking for peace and quiet. Children will also get their money's worth. Telephone, satellite TV and Wi-Fi are available, making our accommodation also ideal for home office with family. The nearest shopping is 4 km away.
