Come and get some fresh air in the Frisian countryside. We live in a wonderfully secluded location outside the village, an ideal base for hikers and cyclists. The Waddendijk is 1.5 km away, and the renowned Pizzeria Pingjum is in the village (1 km). Studio Pekelvisch consists of one simple room on the ground floor and a sleeping loft above. Compact, basic, ruggedly furnished with old building materials and second-hand items. Shower cubicle in the corner. Please don't expect luxury, but do expect authenticity, charm and soothing peace and quiet.

Welcome to Friese Wergea, located within cycling distance of Leeuwarden, the Alde Feanen National Park and the water sports village of Grou. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. It features unique décor, with plenty of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. The b and b is located separately and closed off from the main house. Private entrance, private bedroom and private bathroom. There is one B&B room. Breakfast included.

Lupin

Modern furnished studio in the center of the water sports village of Grou. The studio is located in the heart of Grou. When you step out the door, you are immediately between the terraces and shops, walk another +/- 100m and you are at the Pikmeer where you will find options to rent a (sailing) boat. After a fun day in the area, relax on the sofa or outside in the sheltered and sunny south-facing garden. From the living room, you step into the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower.

Downstairs is often inhabited by the owners, but upstairs is a fully enclosed theater attic, which also serves fantastically as a living area. Then it's a living room and kitchen in one, where you can play games or watch movies on a big screen. Mandatory tourist tax: €1.25 per person per night, to be paid on location

Ideal for a holiday or home office use. Entrance, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Close to supermarket, the city centre, Harlingen beach and Vlieland & Terschelling ferry terminal. There is paid parking available in the street or at Spoorstraat parking (150 m). Indoor parking for bicycles available upon request.

Please note: due to the narrow and steep stairs to the sleeping loft, it is not suitable for the elderly or disabled.

"As in Roaske" ("Like a Rose" in Frisian) is a cozy guest house/apartment with private entrance, located in a characteristic street of Burgum. The Waldhûske (built in 1918) where we live ourselves, served as a butcher shop at the time and has a completely renovated guest house at the back. Near the center of Burgum and within walking distance of various eateries and shops in the heart of "De Fryske Wâlden" where water, nature and various cycling and walking routes come together.

Cozy, complete, clean, stylish, that's what our guests often write. The B&B is suitable for 2-3 people. Spacious living room with private shower and toilet and private entrance. Beautiful upper floor with a lovely box spring. In the living room, a nice sofa bed. Good WiFi, smart TV, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, milk frother, kettle, fridge, combi microwave and kitchenette (no cooking facilities). Gourmet, wok, etc. are not allowed. Breakfast is not included in the price.
