Sieske, it was a very nice stay at your cottage. There was a lot of space, good beds and a nice garden (also for the dogs). We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the beautiful island. Definitely recommended.

A very cozy cottage with a huge nice, large enclosed garden where you will certainly make yourself and your four-legged friend very happy. Lots of privacy. The cottage is perfectly arranged and everything has been thought of … we can't think of anything that felt like it was missing. The two of us could manage just fine with the small shower. The 2 beautiful washbasins in both bedrooms compensated for the lack of space. We greatly enjoyed it! And we were once again amazed by the beautiful nature! Regards, Jan, Elfi and Bowie the dog

It was really gorgeous there. Everything very nice there. By the way, very comfortable beds. It was pure relaxation. The garden is just an oasis. And for the dog, the proximity to the beach was just brilliant. We highly recommend it. Unfortunately, we just had a lot of bad luck with the weather this week.

We were there for 5 days. The place was lovely to stay there and spend free time. We were able to reach many attractions and places. We would check back in here. Thanks so much!

Wonderful five days before Christmas can get a breath of fresh air and then warm up in this cozy bungalow. Amenities within walking distance. Marjan is a great host, responds quickly.

We had a great time at the house in Ballum and on Ameland! The house is as described and for us it was just right with 2 families and with grandma! Great that everything is at ground level and there were two bathrooms and three toilets! There was everything we needed! We would come back!

I stayed at the property for two weeks and had a nice time on Texel. The bungalow is located on the outskirts of a small village from where you can explore the island wonderfully – on foot and by car. Everything necessary is available in the bungalow, my dog and I felt very comfortable. The garden is very nice, with a fence it would be perfect with dog. :) The wifi was also great for working.

As a group, we enjoyed the vacation home very much. Practically located between the village and the sea. The house feels spacious, stylish and complete and offers good possibilities to relax outside.

A house where you immediately feel at home. With our family and friends, we enjoyed the games, playing music, playing Kubbs in the nice garden and cooking in the kitchen where everything has been thought of. The bikes were also handy. And all this on the always pleasant and beautiful Schiermonnikoog. We'd love to come again, thank you for the nice stay.

we spent a week in Vera and Ellen's house. We stayed there from May 12 to May 19, 2025. It was very cozy and lehk decorated. The garden was ideal to stay in. Plenty of room for us and the dog. Beautiful bathroom and neat toilet. In the area beautiful cycling routes and hiking opportunities. Everything was fine.

We were there with 6 friends for a long weekend and had a great time. We spent the rainy hours comfortably in the spacious living and dining room. We were able to use the terrace wonderfully for barbecuing and in a few minutes' walk you were at the sea. Supermarket was around the corner Frank was very friendly and easy to reach. Although the bungalow is on a campsite, you have a lot of privacy.

A great bungalow in the woods. Well equipped with all you would possible need! Clean and tidy. The heating works very well and the place is warm in no time, easy to use controle. Beds and pillows comfortable. Ann and Peter were good hosts, responding to message promptly. I would book the place again should I need it.

We felt very comfortable. Everything was as described and the contact with Debbie was very kind. Check-in was very easy and we were even able to get into the house a little earlier. Thank you again.

We arrived in a really sparkling clean house, in the middle of the forest, surrounded by a beautiful garden, where it was wonderful to spend time. The decor was very cozy with nice touches. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the garden and the beautiful surroundings. From the cottage, you can get into the Drents-Friese Wold by bike. Communication with the owners went smoothly, we got a lot of nice tips! In short: highly recommended if you like peace, space and greenery!!

We enjoyed the tranquility and the surroundings. The view from the cottage is great: we did not have the television on, but we enjoyed staring outside. Due to the location of the cottage, you often forget that you are at a holiday park. We were surprised by several delicacies on arrival and we could also (in our case) check in earlier; that was very nice! The beds are good. We slept well and we really enjoyed the tranquility. The supermarket is at walking distance. The Bakkeveen dunes (5 min bike) are worth a visit, as well as the Slotplaats (practically opposite the holiday park). We'd love to come back.
