Barn accommodation in Friesland

Very welcome feeling when you arrive and very cozy cottages. Well furnished for a large group, in particular the kitchen with lots of crockery. Had a very nice weekend.

Together with my mother and sister, we had a pleasant stay. The cottage is in a beautiful garden where we could have our breakfast in the morning. We were kindly received by both the family and all the animals.

Very nice modern and quiet apartment. Not far from the kitespot Workum and beautiful beach Makkum.

Willem Jan welcomed us super friendly and warmly upon our arrival. We felt directly welcome and comfortable. The accommodation is totally beautiful and is in a quiet, rural location, right on the IJsselmeer - perfect for relaxing and coming down.

Very nice quiet stay, we were outside the high season so there were no campers and we had peace and quiet. Could do what we wanted ourselves and the host was very flexible.

A beautiful location surrounded by nature. Very nice garden. You feel right at home. You can only recommend it:-) Will is very helpful and has given us detailed information and tips that we have also used. Everything worked very well You can only recommend it. GREAT!!

There were four of us and we stayed very happy with the place. Anita is a loving host, the house is in a beautiful, quiet location and there are many animals in the yard. I can imagine that it can be a lot of fun for children. We are allowed to bring a small dog for a small extra charge.

A beautiful, very large, cosy and well-equipped holiday home in a very idyllic landscape. Contact persons are easy and quick to reach and always helpful. The people were all very nice and language barriers could be overcome with English. Many shops, grocery stores (also open on Sundays), petrol stations and attractions can be reached in less than 30 minutes. Many restaurants and snack bars are nearby and there is also a delivery service. Our conclusion: We (7 people / 4 generations) will definitely come here more often to enjoy our holiday here.

You rarely see a place that is more beautiful than in the photos, but with Ronald and Anita that is true. Not only is the view fantastic, the space itself is also above expectations. Cosily furnished and with all the necessary facilities. We came here to explore the area, and to enjoy the peace and quiet in the morning and evening. We did a great job. The reception was extremely friendly and all instructions were clear. The location is also amazing. Close to shops and restaurants, and several major cities are just around the corner. We definitely recommend this place!

Anna's place was a little gem. We loved our stay and experience at Anna's place because it was just what we needed. Anna and her family made us feel so at home. Our only regret is that we didn't book an extra night because it was so peaceful there. We'll definitely stay at her place again next time.

Willem has a great place to unwind and relax. His house is in a beautiful and peaceful area, easy communication and kindness. He even picked me up from the closest station! 100% recommended

We stopped by friends in Drachten, because our dog went to make puppies. Willem's farm was at a perfect distance from Drachten so we could regularly drive back and forth. We worked in a bright conservatory with a nice pellet stove, while looking out for the Frisian meadows. Our dog could walk around the yard when he didn't go to Drachten and play with Boike, William's dog. Wonderfully quiet and cozy!

We were very warmly welcomed . The apartment has a creative atmosphere as the kitchen is a workshop. The bedroom is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The garden offers flower and dyke views.
