"De Gulle pracht" Holiday home, Friesland

Our cozy vacation cottage, originally was an old stable that we (Caroline and Jan) converted together, with lots of love and respect for the old details and materials, into this "Gulle Pracht". Through a private driveway with parking, you reach the terrace with the spacious garden, a lawn with surrounding tall trees, where you can enjoy. Through the two French doors, you step into the bright and cozy living room with the white old beams and a fully equipped open kitchen. There is wireless internet available, TV and DVD. Because of the ceiling in the living room that has been removed, beautiful light falls in from the skylights and you have a view of the roof structure with the old round hoods. The beds are located on top of the two lofts. The comfortable double bed is accessed by an open staircase. The other loft, where a third or fourth bed can possibly be made, is only accessible by flexible guests via a ladder. It is not suitable for small children because of the danger of falling, but older children find it exciting to sleep there. Please note, the two lofts share the same large open space. Under the old beams, you can sleep peacefully, where only the sound of rustling trees, whistling birds or your deliciously snoring bedmate will be heard. The room is heated by central heating, but also only the wood-fired stove can heat the cottage comfortably. You will be provided with enough wood from us to start a cozy fire. Through an old stable door in the living room, you come to the bathroom with beamed ceiling and underfloor heating. The bathroom has a good shower, double sink and toilet. With its inlaid mosaics and all kinds of funny and old details, this space is also a feast for the eyes. There are two bicycles available for nice trips in the wider area (Harlingen, Franeker Bolsward). We may want to drop you off in Harlingen for a crossing to Terschelling. You can leave the car in our yard for a while. We, ourselves, live in the farmhouse which is in the same yard. We are available for help, information and advice for fun trips in our beautiful Friesland. Your cottage and our farmhouse are separated by our garden and the big old barn (with pool table), so we both have our own space and privacy. Kimswerd, located on the eleven city route is a small, quiet and beautiful village where our Frisian hero "de Grutte Pier" was born and lived. He still watches over us, in petrified form, at the beginning of our little street, next to the centuries-old Church, which is very much worth visiting as well. You can do your shopping in Harlingen, the supermarket is a fifteen minute bike ride away. The old port of Harlingen is 10 km from our cottage. Kimswerd is located just across the Afsluitdijk. From there, follow the signs N31 Harlingen/Leeuwarden/Zurich and take the first exit at Kimswerd, 1st right at the traffic circle, 1st right again at the next traffic circle, straight ahead at the intersection, across the bridge and immediately take the first left (Jan Timmerstraat). At the beginning of this street, next to the church, stands the statue of the Grutte Pier. We live in the farmhouse behind the church, Jan Timmerstraat 6, first wide gravel path on the right. - For small children, sleeping on the loft without a fence is not advisable because of the danger of falling. It's just fun for big kids, the loft is accessible by a ladder. Please note, it is 1 large open space upstairs with no privacy.

Peace and quiet in Barsingerhorn, Noord-Holland.

Without stairs and thresholds. Centrally located in a hamlet in Hollands Kroon. Very complete studio. With terrace. Surrounded by old Dutch landscape with beautiful villages and 3 coasts 15 km away. Cities such as Alkmaar and Enkhuizen are nearby, but Amsterdam is also not far away. How about a day on the bird island of Texel?! Schagen with all its restaurants and shops is 5 km away. Noord Holland Pad and bicycle junction are around the corner. Molenslag golf course is 250 meters away! You are warmly welcome.

Beautiful place to relax in Workum

This lovely apartment, located on the first floor, has beautiful views over the countryside, is right on the water and offers plenty of privacy. Through the front door, you enter a spacious hall where you walk up the stairs and enter the apartment. Through the hallway, you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double box spring bed. Opposite the bedroom is the toilet with the spacious bathroom next to it. At the end of the hallway is the spacious cozy living room with kitchen and also two sleeping places.

Skoallehûs aan Zee! Private sauna optional

The dormitory in Wierum is a beautiful and cozy apartment with private sauna (for an additional fee), located in a former primary school 100m from the Wadden Sea. It is located in the middle of the Unesco World Heritage, where you can intensely enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Wadden area. The apartment is surprisingly spacious (70m2) and can accommodate up to 5 people. Children can have fun on the trampoline, on the grass/soccer field and can also cuddle with our rabbits and guinea pigs.

Cozy house in Harlingen city for pleasure & work.

A cozy house with a spacious living-dining room, fully equipped kitchen and bedroom with very comfortable kingsize bed on the second floor in a quiet street in Harlingen city. Ideal for a holiday or home office use. Entrance, bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. Close to supermarket, the city centre, Harlingen beach and Vlieland & Terschelling ferry terminal. There is paid parking available in the street or at Spoorstraat parking (150 m). Indoor parking for bicycles available upon request.

Studio with unique views over the IJsselmeer

In the old center of Hindeloopen, there is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king-size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking lot at the harbor. You can store your bicycles in the garden that belongs to the guest house.

Apartment Landleven is located in a quiet area. About 10 minutes' walk from the Wadden Sea and 10 minutes' drive from the beautiful harbor town of Harlingen. The apartment is 60 m2 and has a private parking space, private entrance and private garden with veranda. The apartment is characterized by a cozy and luxurious look. A modern steel kitchen with beautiful SMEG appliances. In the kitchen is a beautiful wooden table that can also be extended, so you have all the space to work!

U slaapt op de begane grond (2 sk + eigen badk.+eigen keuken+ eigen grote woonkamer (50 m2) met hoge plafonts en openhaard. eigen ingang. 3e slaapkamer is boven via het voorhuis. Buiten aan het water je eigen terras. Ook geschikt voor groeps werk met een grote werk tafel. Vintage dus mooi, oud en gezellig. Maar niet spotless.

In a historic place near the lock/port in Workum is this colorful apartment "Loft" (Frisian for Air). A beautiful place on the water. Within walking distance of IJsselmeer and city center. Includes use of 2 canoes and motorboat. New (unique) dining kitchen and beautiful fresh bathroom. Double box spring and a comfortable sofa bed. A panoramic window overlooking farmlands and IJsselmeer. Waterfront terrace with cozy seats. WiFi! Unique place on open water and lots of nature!

Matjene's tiny house

Cozy and charming cottage, with its own entrance and a sunny south-facing terrace. Free parking. In front of my house. Inside, it is always warm thanks to the radiators, and there is also a wood-burning stove for those who know how it works. Then you can turn it on. Wood is there. Duvets are 2 in 1. They are washed every time. Small Air conditioning in summer. Within walking distance along the harbor. Is the city center (15 min.), station (10 min.) and the beach (20 min.)

The apartment is located in the middle of the bustling village street of Langweer on the first floor above our design studio. It features a spacious living room with a luxurious kitchen (and island), two fine bedrooms with private bathroom. The entire apartment is equipped with tasteful furniture matching our design style. Many nice sights are just steps away: the harbor is around the corner, nice restaurants, beautiful villages, beautiful nature, cities, shops and culture.
