Idyllic nature house, hot tub sauna near Wadden

Ydilische Bed and Breakfast Walden (walden is the Frisian word for forests) is located in the National landscape Northern Frisian forests. Characteristic is the ‘smûke' backdrop landscape with thousands of kilometres of elk collectors, dykswâlen (wood walls) and hundreds of pingos and pools. The area has unique flora and fauna. The biodiversity here is great. A short distance from Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum and the Ydillian Wadden Islands. The surroundings are very suitable for walking, cycling, canoeing.

From the outdoor terrace with canopy, guests can enjoy the HOT TUB, the view, the stars and a fabulous sunrise. The hot tub costs €40,- for the 1st day and €20,- for the following days. We recommend bringing our own bathrobes, should it be necessary, we also have bathrobes.

You can walk to the supermarket within 1 minute and to Joure harbour and park within a few minutes. On the ground floor is a toilet, laundry room, open kitchen with a large dining area. And on the upper floor you will find a living room and a bedroom with open shower. Tourist tax €1.00 per person per night, please pay in cash upon check-in.

Next to our small nature campsite is a beautiful holiday home in the middle of nature. Jurjen has made the cottage all by himself and made sure that you can completely relax. The kitchen is a real "vintage car” but also with oven. A large dining room table overlooking the stork, a nice couch to read a book quietly. A spacious shower with fine jet. The wood-fired Hottub can be rented separately for €90,- for a weekend and €120, - for a midweek/week.
