Waterfront holiday rentals in Fistral Beach

I’d absolutely return to this amazing property, which has views over the water. The apartment was very clean & had everything & more that we needed for a great stay in Falmouth. Our host was really friendly & helpful

Great apartment with a beautiful view of the beach. Angie was super helpful and responsive, she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment could have done with a little more thorough cleaning in the bedrooms but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great week staying here! Dale and Anna were amazing hosts, really communicative and proactive. The location is super convenient for going in town, but without the hecticness of being in town and the place was spotless and really nicely decorated, with really comfy beds! We all slept so well. The listing is exactly as described and I can really really recommend it! The guidebook in the house was comprehensive and super helpful. It's also really well stocked for a young family! It might be worth knowing that the bedrooms get quite light when the sun rises (not sure if black out blinds are available as we don't have very little ones so don't need them). Overall, I really reccomend this host and apartment for a break in Newquay!!

This is my third easter stay at the apartment! The view of Fistral beach never disappoints! Walking distance to the local shops. Great location for day trips out and easy check in. Really comfortable beds, great shower and homely bean bags. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Janet's apartment has everything you could need for your stay. The views from inside and from the balcony were amazing. would definitely recommend it.

I can't recommend this apartment enough. It was spacious, clean, secure and peaceful. we stayed Monday to Friday so it may be a little noisier at the weekends (earplugs are provided!). We wouldn't hesitate to suggest a stay to our friends for convenience and good access to all facilities and venues around. Absolutely great.

We had a lovely couple of nights away with our Daughters, the apartment was very clean and cosy the views & surrounding area are beautiful. Mike was a great host.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

This is our 2nd stay at this lovely house. Has everything we needed and great location will definitely book again.

We had the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at The Anchorage. The location was superb, and the views from the house were my personal favorite part. I spent every spare minute in the sunroom looking at the ocean. There was plenty of space for us to all be comfortable and my children especially enjoyed the kids room with bunk beds! The town is beautiful and there are so many different beach options around to choose from. It is definitely a little stressful driving in the village (coming from from an American haha) but that aside it was a perfect end to our vacation and I plan on booking again (this time with some friends or maybe extended family to fill up the many bedrooms!)

We had a great week here as a group of eight friends. The house is in a fantastic location, very spacious, with lovely modern bathrooms and excellent towels. The welcome treat of scones, jam, and clotted cream was a really thoughtful touch – thank you! Faye and Mike are very welcoming - Communication was great and a maintenance issue was sorted quickly, which we really appreciated. A few small points: the double beds are quite small for non-couples to share, and some of the pans need replacing as they’re quite worn. Overall, a lovely stay in a great house – we'd be happy to return!

By following the sat nav the house was easy to find. The location is ideal to use as a base to visit nearby places. There is a bus service that goes through the village roughly hourly which starts early in the morning and finishes at a reasonable time at night. We used the service quite regularly and didn’t have to use the car unless travelling further a field ,but no doubt could have used the bus for further places but there would be a time element to consider. There is a walk from the village to padstow which we took and although dry was uphill and down dale in places. Although the sign says 2 mls I think to the centre of padstow more like 2 3/4 mls. The old mill restaurant in the village is superb and a loverly setting for a meal inside or out, depending on weather. I must also say that Hollie was very helpful and accommodating with regard to our booking due to a medical situation and had to alter dates at the last minute.

Easy and straightforward stay - very close to St Ives, local boats and lovely walks, home was clean and the neighbours were friendly and quiet

The apartment suited us perfectly. It was walkable to some shops and eateries in Hayle, and also a good location to visit other places in Cornwall like St Ives. We had a great stay and would come back.

Damian was very friendly and helpful especially when it came down to finding the parking. Very easy to talk to when it came to checking in/out. Highly recommend this place and could have stayed longer!

Just back from a great stay in Falmouth. The accommodation was easy to find with straight forward instructions for access. The location is a 30 second walk from Gylly beach and 15 minute walk from the centre of Falmouth. The apartment was very well kitted out and clearly well cared for. I would have no hesitation recommending for others in the future. Thanks for a great stay. Regards. John

Great location for a stay in Falmouth. Easy walk into town and parking was a great bonus. Flat was clean and comfortable and exactly as promised.

Great instructions for self-check in to the property. Lovely views across the estuary. Allocated parking great. Ideal location to walk to harbour as long as you don’t mind all the steps. Apartment really comfortable & balcony lovely. Enjoyed our 3 night stay.

Lovely big front room overlooking Falmouth harbour. The road is classy and quite quiet. You can swim from the steps just across the road. Breakfast in the bay window is a must.

Mevagissey on the south Cornish coast was a little gem. A fishing harbour with huge tides, lots of shops, bakeries, and restaurants . The flat was compact clean and had good kitchen and laundry facilities. Perfect for a couple to explore the town or further afield. The ferry to Fowey was a highlight as was walking the harbour and streets. Location was a joy and we’d have no hesitation to recommend!

Perfect! It was our Golden Wedding Anniversary! Everything was perfect. The fizz and flowers such a lovely welcoming surprise . Perfect location. Views amazing. Well done Justin and Derbra.
