Spacious double room for 1 or 2 people. The house is 4.5 km away from the center of the city. Close to all amenities, bus stop, shops, supermarkets, pubs, parks, restaurants, and of course: football stadiums.
“Pablo is a good and friendly host, his responses are quickly and when you are there he is in for a talk. The place was good and clean and you can have some breakfast there. It's nearby a bus (5 min walk) who brings you to the city in about 20 mins and it is close to the Football stadiums (Goodison about 10 mins and Anfield about 20 mins walk). So if you want to visit Liverpool for a Football game or just to visit the city and around, this is a good place to stay!”
The apartment is in the basement of our Georgian Town House and a 15 minute walk into Liverpool city centre. It's entirely self contained with a modern bathroom, a large combined living room and kitchen with a double sofa bed, a utility room with washing machine and a large double bedroom. The apartment is full of character with an Aga and bare brick walls. As a family ourselves we're happy to provide travel cots and high chairs for children. No stag or hen parties.
“The place was great! Esther provides so many amenities, we had a great stay even with the city being so quiet. We came as Coronavirus started closing a lot of places. Even so, she gave us lots of suggestions which really helped make the most of our single night in town. We had a car and parking was available right in front of the guest entry. We walked just about the whole time and it was no problem getting into the different bustling areas of Liverpool. Then an Uber ride back was maybe 6 pounds. Not a bad trip at all.”
Robin Lodge is a cosy self-contained studio apartment for 1 or 2 people with its own entrance and free on road parking in a quiet suburban area of Woolton. It’s an ideal base for visiting Liverpool, discovering the local Beatles attractions including strawberry fields etc, or for visiting Hope University a short drive away. The historic village of Woolton is within easy walking distance and has numerous restaurants, bars, the oldest cinema in Merseyside, and many shops including a supermarket.
“I stayed at Ken and Julie's place for one night, as I had an early flight from Liverpool. I was greeted by Julie, who was lovely and gave me some info on the local area. The space is perfect for up to 2 people, offering a comfy double bed, table and desk, fridge, microwave and toaster (with tea and coffee making items). There is an ensuite bathroom with toiletries included and access to the lovely garden. 10-15minutes away from John Lennon Airport and within easy reach of Liverpool City centre, if you didn't want to stay right in the middle of things. Excellent value for money! Thank you!”
