Old town of Alkmaar with large shopping area, restaurants, cheese market [in Summer on Fridays] and cafés, only a few [cycling] minutes away. You may use our bicycles if they are your size. Amsterdam [Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum] only half an hour by train as well as VOC-harbour town Hoorn and lively Haarlem.

Welcome to Alkmaar. I have enjoyed being an airbnb hostess for 5 years now. I think it is a wonderful experience to receive people from all kinds of nationalities. In my house I rent 2 rooms to the person who books. There is room for a maximum of 4 people. I think it is important that you feel comfortable and that there is mutual respect. My home is a 20-minute walk to the center and train station. You can travel to Amsterdam by train in 35 minutes. The sea and forest are easy accesible.

Our house is located in a quiet but family-friendly neighborhood, with a playground and soccer field right outside. Within a 1 km radius, you'll find supermarkets, a train station, a shopping mall, a cinema, restaurants, cafes, a theater, and a bowling alley. Furthermore, several beaches are within a 30-minute drive, and Alkmaar is a 10-minute drive away. In short, a very pleasant location.

Cycling tours through the dunes to Egmond or Bergen aan Zee are particularly recommended.

Je kunt op je kamer je ontbijt krijgen voor 12,50 Euro p.p, en kunt ook beneden in de lichte keuken komen ontbijten, of in de tuin. Douche en toilet deel je . De hele woning is prettig en licht, vlak bij het Geestmerambacht recreatie gebied en Bergen aan Zee en Schoorl.Voor 17,50 p.p. kun. je een avondmaaltijd aanvragen.
