Very well equipped cottage. Everything is available in the kitchen. Good starting point for trips to the IJsselmeer and the North Sea. You can go directly from the house to the dyke and cycle there. Nice hosts!

We stayed at Valeries Air BnB for a few days as my friend was getting married at the Orangerie Elswout. The area is beautiful and has everything you could need close by. The accommodation itself was wonderful, very clean and had everything you could need for a stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Mick is a good host. The place was very peaceful and calm. You have all the necessary items makes you feel like home. Station, bus stand and grocery market are all near by to his place ( walking distance ).

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

“A perfect stay from start to finish

From the moment I arrived I knew I was going to enjoy my stay here!. Astrid andThijs were so very welcoming & once I settled into their lovely cottage (which had a lovely welcome sign and a plate of goodies) I had a good chat with them and they were able to expand on the written information about transport, restaurants, places of interest. I stayed for 4 nights and could easily have stayed longer. The railway station is literally 5 minutes walk up the road., and local shops are the same distance. Whenever I got back from my days out I would call in to have a chat, they were so friendly and it was lovely as travelling on my own can be lonely at times so very nice to have some good conversations. I would not hesitate for a second recommending their air bnb and will be promoting it to friends & relatives back home in Australia. Do yourself a favour and book with them!

We stayed 3 nights at Tatjana's place. A pretty little place to stay that keeps everything it promises. Tatjana was very friendly, communication worked well. The location of the place was perfect. 2 minutes walk to the beach, see the lighthouse from the breakfast table. Shopping and restaurants 5 minutes walking. We'd love to come again.

This is an exceptional Airbnb. It's located in a lush rural town, yet is only 15 minutes by car to Amsterdam city center and near Edam ( like the cheese). It is a safe neighborhood with lovely gardens, a small grocery store and restaurants. Our hosts were kind, generous, friendly and helpful. We were there on the King's birthday and the grocery was closed, so they kindly picked up some breakfast items for us in the next town. Upon arrival there was a bottle of wine, local bakery goods and coffee. Edith is an amazing and accomplished artist which reflected in the home's decor. The home was immaculate! The beds comfortable! The linens top quality! The kitchen well equipped! The coffee/tea station had an espresso maker and a milk frother! We were a group of 5 woman and there was plenty of room for us to stretch out and not get in each other's way. We had the best time at Edith's place. This is the best Airbnb I've stayed at and I think I have stayed at over 50! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dennis received us in a very friendly way and explained everything to us. With the bathroom you have to be a little careful as you have to go a high step. But otherwise a nice accommodation for 2 people with practical amenities. Egmond-Binnen is a few minutes' walk away, as is a supermarket. Be sure to eat an ice cream in the ice cream parlor in Indoor! Egmond by the sea is easy to get to by bike or car. A beautiful weekend with a fantastic view of the colorful tulip field.

The Airbnb is small but really super nice and has everything you need for a short trip. A plus is definitely the free public parking (about 5 minutes walk from the property) as well as the short path to the promenade and the beach. The communication with Janine was super straightforward and very friendly. We can recommend Airbnb.

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. A great place to stay in a very nice environment with a super friendly hostess. We would definitely come back!

Very much enjoyed our stay with Nel and Nico together with our daughter of 4! The cottage was seen in every comfort. Nice and conveniently furnished. Near the beach. Very helpful and flexible hosts! They even arranged good weather for us :)

A huge favorite ♥️ A beautiful little, intimate, lighted, clean and super quiet cottage. The beds are comfortable, a good shower and everything you need for the kitchen. In addition we have our own small terrace to sit outside with coffee. The hosts Jantien and Christiaan are extraordinary, accessible if we wish otherwise very reserved to not disturb us. For our part, your smiles, your tips and your kindness really amazed us. We suggest taking the bicycles they offer at a discounted price to discover this wonderful corner of the country. We suggest taking several nights and making it your starting point for Leiden, Haarlem , Keukenof and more… because we regretted not having planned. The train station is very close... We highly recommend Dannie and Jean

We stayed at Agaath's place for 4 days. This one is as beautiful as in the pictures. We were very warmly welcomed and got nice tips from the hostess. The little cottage is very clean and well appointed. You could make many beautiful excursions by bike. Everything was perfect!

We stayed at Mjc's for 2 nights. He was super friendly. We were able to park on his property. Everything is within walking distance. In 10 - 15 minutes you are on the beach or at the train station, from where you can easily take the train to Haarlem or Amsterdam. We will be happy to come back.

Norbert and Ana were so available for our many questions especially about public transportation and which bus/train was best to take wherever we needed to go. They are so friendly and kind! They gave us wine and honey. Norbert even gave us bungee cords to secure our elderly mom’s walker to one of our suitcases for our long day of travel to our next stay. We would recommend there place to any traveler!

We had a wonderful time at this charming apartment in Limmen! The place was not only clean, but also tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described and the quiet location contributed to a very relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made cooking much easier for us. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us great tips for the area. Overall it was a very nice stay and we can highly recommend this apartment.

The week we spent at Jan's house was very good. Jan welcomed us and showed us the house; he's a very kind and friendly person. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, the house is great, clean and tidy, and we loved the bathroom.

Our stay was just beautiful! The place was not only beautiful and very clean, but also furnished with an incredible amount of love for detail – you feel welcome from the first moment. The hosts were fantastic: warm, helpful, and always trying to make the stay as comfortable as possible. We felt completely comfortable and will be happy to come back at any time. Absolutely recommended – five stars are almost too little!

We had wonderful days with Timo and Lucy. The location is super central, but it's still quiet. We were only 5 minutes walk from the beach. A very cute, clean cottage to relax and linger. Highly recommend, especially because of the great location.

We had a wonderful time staying with Patricia and Eric! The property – a former garage lovingly converted into a cozy tiny house – was perfectly equipped and very charming. The garden was a real highlight: totally cute designed and a small playground for our young Labrador. Patricia and Eric were incredibly warm, and we were even allowed to let our dog run freely – that was very special to us. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!🫶🏼

To begin with and as the most important thing while travelling, the place was very clean and well maintained. Furthermore, the hosts were polite and friendly. The room is easily accessible with the bus, even though it is outside the city. We enjoyed the nature, piece and quiet around the beautiful garden and the cute animals.
