Beautiful authentic room with private bathroom for rent in De Pijp. The room has it's own entrance and is located on the second floor of a very authentic, old house. To reach this room you have to walk up 2 steep flights of stairs. The street is next to the beautiful Amstel river and the pretty Sarphatipark.

What guests are saying:“So these rooms are not for any people who have even a touch of clostrophobia. If you could handle sleeping on one of those over-the-cab beds in a motorhome, you’ll be fine. The good: The mobile hotspot WiFi they give you free once you get there is super convenient and easy to use The lockers they let me use seven hours prior to my check in time, it was free and secure and I felt comfortable leaving my valuables as we went to shop and eat Door has a silent self closer and you don’t hear a thing- from your own door or the 3 others right within a three step distance from yours. The hallway containing all the pods for sleeping has cork or rubber flooring similar to a nice indoor playground, kinda bouncy and silent so you don’t hear people walking by There’s a choice when you get here top or bottom. There’s a little shelf to set your suitcase and it doubles as a step to climb up to your top bunk. And it didn’t feel unsafe- just looked it. Hangers were nice They offered towels and robes for showering (we didn’t so not sure how that goes) Vending machine sold flip flops, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush, lady products, and other things you may have left home. Always felt safe and secure Guests while we stayed here were quiet, polite, clean and courteous. Did not seem to draw in a rough type traveler or the party crowd. The people who work here were 100% kind and genuine. Spoke great English and really knew the area well. Had great recommendations and helped us with everything from calling a taxi to recommendation for what tours to do. The bad: It felt like for the space you get, like less than one full step in only one direction when you shut the door (cannot walk in with two people and shut the door- one would have to move to the bed) the price is a touch high. You should have the option to omit showers and save a little money or something. Other than price, I totally thought this was a 5 star accommodation and I’m used to Marriott (Aloft) because my brother gets us his employee discount so that’s usually all we stay in.”
Privat trendy loft studio at the attick of an authentic old Amsterdam house from 1880 Located in "hip" neighborhood near de Foodhallen en daily outdoor market. Authentic old dutch house with steep narrow stairs. Not suitable for elderly, disabled or very large suitcases, for you have 3 times 15 steps to climb.

Considering the house has been around for a while it has been taken great care of and renovated respectfully. Easily one of the best places we’ve ever stayed.
