Cottage holiday rentals in Amsterdam

What an amazing place to stay it with kids, there was so much space around the lodge which all felt really safe to let them explore different activities. There was a quite a few groups there but it was never noisy or overcrowded. The lodges were really cool and different to what we stayed in previously, it did go a little cold one of the nights we were there but they were still comfortable and nice (you can rent heaters if needed). We would 100% come back in the future if we travel that way again. We went for a trip to Amsterdam which was easy to get to and Sprookjeswonderland which I would recommend too with children under 6/7

We had a lovely time in IJsselstein, it is a wonderful cottage with peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Jokelien was a fantastic host, very flexible and helpful. Can only recommend, would love to come back!

Very nice stay! Had quick, friendly and helpful contact in advance about a demand for charging stations (they are there and also often available). Cottage itself was clean and nice and there were slippers and a bathrobe ready for the hot tub. Surroundings are quiet and there is plenty to do in terms of hiking, etc. Possibly also bicycles for rent at the reception (we did not do it). We enjoyed it!

It was just nice. Perfect for a few days of relaxation. At check-in, Ellen explained everything to us and from there the relaxation already started. Everything you need is there. There were plenty of towels and even bathrobes available. And if you're lucky, the cat will even come over for a cuddle. We will definitely be back

Super friendly staff. The place was as shown in the pictures and everything was very clean. Check-in and check-in worked without problems. Very great park. I can only recommend it. Perfect for kids.

We had a lovely holiday with six adults. Everything worked wonderfully. The hot tub is great! Everything was clean and exactly as it was described on the photos. The communication with the owner is great, she responds quickly and kindly. We would go back there anytime. One car can park right in front of the house, the other in front of the residential park in a free parking lot. The path is about 5 minutes - everything is easily accessible. Shopping can also be reached directly within 4 minutes by car. It is highly recommended.

We had a very nice time in Marjan's place and felt very comfortable. The cottage is modern and lovingly furnished. You'll find everything you need. On the terrace, you can relax and you can watch animals or planes all day. The hot tub was our absolute highlight and was used every night. We can definitely recommend Marjan's AirBnB and would come back anytime.

What a beautiful and inviting lake home very close to Gouda and all local transportation. It was fast travel to Rotterdam and only an hour from Amsterdam / both were easy access through the local train station Gouda Gowervelle. We enjoyed all the running and biking paths along the lake and canals. Shopping and sightseeing in Gouda was fun as well! (Enjoyed the cheese museum which is perfect for kids of all ages. ) The lake house was a perfect setting, neighbors are friendly and quiet and the home is spacious enough for 4 or small families and it’s simply beautiful . Enjoyed!! Great hosts and very responsive! Highly recommend.

Beautiful house and perfect host!

The house was a 10 out of 10 for us. The location of the house, the amenities, the wonderful balcony towards the water with the ducks was simply an absolute dream.

Angelique picked us up right at the parking lot and showed us everything in detail. She even brought my suitcase to the house in a wheelbarrow and organised a boat for us for two days, absolutely great! The cottage is in an absolutely quiet location, right on a canal and very nicely furnished. Simply perfect for spending a few quiet days. Absolute tip, you can even take the boat directly into the city, dock there and shop, eat or shop :) Always happy to come back!

We had wonderful days at Frederika's, the place looks even nicer in real life than on the pictures. Special highlight next to the incredibly beautiful view - the rowing boat! Which we were allowed to rent for free! Small but nice. Would recommend! Note: Wifi is certainly not required in such an environment, but would have made the stay even more pleasant. Thank you!

Frank and Tucha‘s apartment is an absolut Pearl of an Airbnb. We felt super welcomed, the apartment is as described and looks as it’s published online. Compared to other Airbnb’s, the apartment (bedroom / bathroom / livingroom and especially the kitchen) is fully equipped including all necessities and tools you‘d wished or could ask for. The interior is quite stylish and still in perfect shape. We had a couple of amazing days (pure sunshine) and enjoyed the huge garden after chilling at the beach for some barbecue or just some peaceful hours. We will certainly come back! It was the perfect birthday present for our mother! The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, cozy, clean, a beautiful terrace! Everything is within walking distance - supermarket, bakery, beach! Very special highlights were our bike tour through the dunes and the weekly market. Everyone was very friendly in the village. Jolijn was always easy to reach and helped directly with questions! I had a nice time at Anja and Hans's cottage. It didn't feel "tiny" at all and everything was definitely to your liking. You will definitely relax in this location and the deer complete it. Anja and Hans were super nice and made sure everything was clear from start to finish. I'd definitely be back again!

A Tiny House equipped with everything you need, the personal welcome message makes you feel really welcome. Our goal was to relax together and we really succeeded. The tips with what to do were very good and partly because of that we had nice days. Even with some turbulent weather, there was plenty to do in the area. From the accommodation we also drove to Den Helder, where we visited Fort Kijkduin. Where we unexpectedly got a private tour. Slept wonderfully in a romantic bed, surprisingly large it was. My 1.90 m tall husband regularly hangs with his feet over the edge of a bed, but this is certainly not the case. Despite the fact that you are in a residential area with the cottage, in the backyard of the host, you do not really realize this when you are at the cottage. Definitely recommendable to book here!

Gerrit Jan was the BEST Airbnb host we have EVER had!!! We had been planning to walk from the train station and we were so shocked when he offered to pick us up! He was there waiting and was so friendly and hospitable. Throughout our 5 nights there we loved talking to him and we had great conversations. His garden house is so cute and beautifully decorated and we loved that it is located right on a canal and footsteps away from shops and restaurants. We absolutely loved Leiden!!! The buildings and streets are so beautiful! We had so much fun walking and biking along the canals and checking out the Saturday market, and it was easy to travel by train to Amsterdam, Haarlem, Delft, etc for fun day trips. We really recommend staying here!

We enjoyed staying with Martine very much! The entire property and especially the garden are super well maintained. A place to unplug and enjoy your vacation. The free-range chickens and the hangover were our highlight.

We had a very nice time. Super nice, quiet and relaxed. In the evening, you had a very nice view and a nice atmosphere! Definitely recommended! 😊
