Beautiful place where we had a great weekend with the family. Very well located in the middle of a beautiful countryside the house is really well equipped and quiet. We appreciated the welcome and kindness of Ans and highly recommend the place.

We loved staying in Bart’s house. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and pretty and the transport links are excellent. We easily took trains to Amsterdam, Haarlem and The Hague. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. The children loved all the playgrounds nearby too. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Villa Duindoorn was perfect. It all started with the nicest welcome note and Robert’s kind offer to pick us up at the train station. From our very first impression, we loved everything about the house: the pictures and paintings everywhere, the handpicked designer furniture, the flowers, the books and the blooming garden. We immediately felt at home. The kitchen was very well-equipped: a fridge that makes ice cubes, an espresso machine, a big gas stove, sharp knives and all the basics we needed - including fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden! Once you enter the 1st floor, you find yourself in Pipi longstocking‘s Villa with the cosiest wallpaper, cloud-like beds, and loads of fresh towels! Robert and Karin showed us their property and invited us to use everything- from the swimming pool to the hammock and all the benches, seatings and little sun islands they have created. Great place! The cottage is located in an enclosed housing estate, there are plenty of green spaces in the area, you can walk a lot. The interior of the cottage has recently been refreshed, furniture different than in the photos, but it is definitely a positive change. Very comfortable layout. We were 7 adults and a child, every family/couple had their own room, and we could spend the evenings together in the spacious living room. I'd love to come back!

Frank is an outstanding host. He provided fantastic and detailed information upfront. The check-in was smooth, and we were provided with local snacks, and Frank set us up with breakfast for our first morning in Amsterdam. This made it very comfortable after a long trip. Whenever we had a question, Frank replied within minutes. We all had a great and relaxing stay. Our kids often asked us if we could stay inside the house rather than going on day trips. That's how much they enjoyed the place and the cute little garden where they could play with water (you have to watch out for tiny kids that can't swim though). In short, it was fun, and we had a good time.

Wonderful home - spacious, comfortable and well equipped. We were able to easily explore the beach, the city and the surrounding areas. Rogier was gracious and very responsive to our questions. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Rick's Airbnb! The home had everything we needed and had plenty of spaces to relax. Rick was very responsive to any communication and had suggestions regarding local restaurants and facilities such as a gym. We highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay! We were two large families, and we fit comfortably and head a wonderful stay. I highly recommend for bigger groups or large families.

Amazing place to stay. The house is very nice and has all is needed for a great holiday. It is also very well located both to access train and go shopping for groceries, etc. More than anything, Marjolein and Jan were amazing hosts, starting with a very nice welcome with a warm soup for the cold weather and regularly checking that everything we needed was there for us. We loved our stay at the wonderful house of Bruno, Caroline and their kids. The house has a such a great design with attention for detail, high quality and at the same time it is a warm and welcoming family house. It really felt like home for our kids and us. Kids enjoyed the trampoline in the garden and the ice cream shop across the road. Beds are very comfortable. Location is perfect, close to the beach and some lovely lakes in the dunes where you can swim and which are well suited for kids. We were lucky with the sunny weather end of April. Josetta (co-host) took very good care of us: clear and timely instructions, proactive sharing of ideas. All in all we highly recommend Bruno & Caroline's house, as well as their hospitality and the overall experience.

We loved our stay here! The two bakeries within a five minute walk were amazing and we went every morning. The station was also within five minutes along with grocery store that had everything we needed.

We were with friends on site Judith as well as the host on site were very helpful friendly and nice, good communication. The house was beautiful and kept what it promised. At that time, it was like with us when we booked in January very good to have the fireplace & heating pool:-) Thank you very much.

Marcel is a very nice host, super reactive, and this house is a nice alternative to downtown accommodations in Amsterdam (or Harlem) if you're visiting the area.

The accommodation is in a unique location overlooking the beach and North Sea. It’s tastefully furnished and thoughtfully equipped. Even has its own private fitness equipment and there is also the use of an indoor pool. Everything was immaculate and every detail from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay exceptionally comfortable. Luna’s mother went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave us some outstanding local tips. It would be a perfect location for a larger gathering as Luna also runs a Beach House opposite. Whether you are looking for a peaceful getaway, an active beach holiday or simply a beautiful place to relax and unwind, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the best of IJmuidens coastal charm.

The accommodation is particularly Cozy , very nice to spend the evening there. If you like board games, nice round table in the living room to Play ... Quiet neighborhood. Accommodation close to the train station and restaurants. The city itself is very pretty . Finally, Marius gives all the useful information. A place and a place that I would recommend without hesitation.

Super nice place to stay with everything you need for a weekend with friends! By bus you are in beautiful Alkmaar in 15 minutes, where there are also many good restaurants and pubs. Otherwise, the villa is relatively remote and right on a highway. But nothing can be heard in the house. But it was relatively cold and difficult to get warm inside. The service was very good and always easily accessible (even later in the evening). All in all, it is highly recommended!

The accommodation was wonderful and left nothing to be desired. Very nice house, located right on the forest with private access to the forest. Great sauna and lounge area outside with heat radiator, so even in this season pleasant to sit outside. Very spacious garden. The beach can be reached in 5 minutes by car, by bike in 10 minutes and you can also go jogging or walking. Highly recommend for a nice break with family/ friends.
