Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

Recently renovated comfortable house (64m2) at the water in the green heart of Holland, surrounded by windmills and cows right across the canal. Close to the main cities and the Kaag lakes: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, Zandvoort, Keukenhof 30, Schiphol-airport 15, Leiden 10 mins by car. During winter the house is also warm and cosy with floor heating. 4 canoes are available for you. Boats can be rented in the area, rental bikes delivered to the house. Free parking. Not suitable for non-swimmers.

The nearest beaches are Wassenaarse slag & Scheveningen, both a short distance away and easily reached by bicycle or by car. Public transport is a 3-minute walk away. A truly fairytale cabin. This cabin is situated on a small family estate (Dennenholt), in a beautiful forest, just outside a small village. The area is the largest nature area of north western Europe, called Veluwe, where you can get away from it all. The cabin is an old forest cabin turned into a comfortable suite. Due to its central location and easy access to the motorway network (6km), it is great for exploring The Netherlands (Utrecht, The Hague, Groningen, Amsterdam etc).

There is space for two adults in a bedroom overlooking the forest. Relax by the fireplace, listen to the birds and the rustling trees. The bookcase is full of books and games. In the picturesque Voorthuizen, there is much to do, so besides tranquility there is plenty of entertainment to find in the area.

It is beautifully situated: on a quiet, spacious park (Sollasi), 2 km from the beach, near a recreational lake and close to cosy villages and cities (such as Noordwijk, Zandvoort, Leiden, Haarlem, Amsterdam and The Hague). So plenty to do but also lovely to "come home" to after a day at the beach or an outing.
