Farmstay holiday rentals in Netherlands

If I could give Leigh-Anne a 10 star review, I absolutely would. My husband and I were traveling from the states on our honeymoon, never having visited the Netherlands and not really being travelers, period. We honestly had no idea what we were doing - Leigh-Anne jumped in and was so kind and helpful. She was so clear in describing where the Airbnb is, not leaving out any important details of how it was on an island, needing to travel to and from by ferry, how often the ferry ran, etc. Luckily we are not big nightlife people and booked the cottage for peaceful refuge and that is just what we got. My husband and I are animal/nature lovers, so the fact there are goats and a rooster were icing on the cake. There are endless fields with wildlife, flowers, cows that you can see from the bedroom window when you wake up and a nice set up outside that is perfect for enjoying some coffee with the goats and birds. De Woude is so cute and quaint. THANK YOU for sharing your space, Leigh-Anne! 🫶🏼

Amazing stay! Absolutely perfect place to get away and only a short bicycle ride into town. Saskia and Tijmen were amazing hosts and extremely helpful with everything we needed. Absolutely would recommend. Thanks again!

The houseboat itself is a dream and superbly located, if on the one hand you love the beauty and tranquility of the countryside, sheep and green meadows on your doorstep, but on the other hand also like to go to the beach or to the cities. The train is quickly reached and that is a big plus in the parking situation in Amsterdam. Leonora and Erwin were easy to reach and always there for us when we had questions. Super friendly hosts! Thank you so much dear ones!

It was just great! One of the most beautiful accommodations we have visited so far. With so much attention to detail, Janet and Auke have created a feel-good oasis that leaves nothing to be desired. A wonderful place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy both the beautiful home and the surroundings to the fullest. Thanks to both of them for the very fine, delicious and cuddly welcome greetings! I'm sure we'll be back.

It was really nice to be able to experience Lucy's life rhythm for a few days. Her lovely cottage, the beautiful ecological flower, vegetable garden and food forest. I liked that Lucy could tell me everything about the garden. Wake up to a beautiful view and the sound of so many birds. From the cottage I took beautiful walks and bike rides. A nice place to relax and unwind. Lucy, thank you for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful place! I hope to stop by again.

The accommodation at Jeanette and Rien's is simply a dream and we were able to spend a few nice and relaxing days there. We were warmly welcomed and we also received eggs from the chickens directly :) On the terrace directly on the water, you can enjoy the sun almost all day in good weather and you can enjoy nature in peace, fishing and watching the sheep on the meadow opposite. After a short briefing, we were able to navigate the canal by motorboat. The house has everything you need for everyday life and it was very clean. We would definitely like to come again.

We used the AirBnB to do some work, and it was great. Especially to go outside and look at the horses in the surrounding fields. Although it was on Sandra's terrain, it felt very private. Thank you for hosting us!

Highly recommend this sweet little farm in a peaceful village. We loved the sheep and lambs and even got to watch a little one be born! Instructions on yurt temperature management, wood stove and wood fired hot tub were clear and easy. We borrowed bikes and rode through the tulip fields to the beach. Such a nice family and surroundings after the bustle of Amsterdam!

The accommodation was really nice, an absolute recommendation! In addition to a wonderful interior, the accommodation impressed with its great location, terrace with a view of nature. There were many loving details. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time. Helen welcomed us very kindly and gave us a few tips for the area. A place to unwind, enjoy nature, and be alone to linger by the sea, to visit small towns.

Great house, especially the beautiful conservatory where we sat wonderfully. It is also very nice to be able to open the glass walls in good weather. Nice terrace. Special that the house is on a busy road, but due to the distance to the road there was no traffic to hear.

Last weekend we stayed at Hoeve Nooitgedacht and we had a lovely time! It is really a paradise on the outskirts of the beautiful nature reserve the Veluwezoom. Everything was perfectly arranged and it is clear that Albertine has all the love and attention for her guests. We had ordered as an extra breakfast (recommended!) this was extremely extensive and with delicious products, there were two electric bikes ready for us, the cottage was on top, and on arrival we got an extensive explanation with very nice tips. Very nice place with sweet animals and a top hostess! We'd love to come back!

We had a really great time at this place! The location was very peaceful and calm. The house had all amenities we needed. The yard was lovely to sit and relax and our dog enjoyed there as well especially with the goats, chickens and the owner's dog! It was a first time caravan experience and it is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation! Esther, Michel and their kids were extremely friendly, responsive and gave us lots of local recommendations. We felt right at home :) Would visit again!

I had an amazing time at the cabin. I am a florist and I came from the USA for the flowers and to learn as much as I could about them, the farming, the flower auctions & the marketing and advertising while I was here. I was traveling solo and her cabin is a perfect location for it all and I felt safe there through out my stay. I also loved the fact that I had the quiet woods and farmland surrounding me but could also be at the beach in a blink of an eye! She was an amazing host with the biggest heart and wonderful recommendations. I so wish to come back one day with my daughter. The cabin and The Netherlands have my heart now! :) Thank you for an amazing trip. P.s.- If you plan to stay here, maybe bring a flashlight because the trail in the woods to the cabin can get a little dark at night! ;)

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

Cute and cozy spot with beautiful surroundings and accommodating hosts, conveniently close to the city without all the hustle & bustle. We especially loved renting a boat nearby at Bootverhuur Overleek and exploring the surrounding villages along picturesque canals. A lovely spot to stay.

Had a wonderful stay with 8 friends! Contact in advance about how we wanted the beds and on arrival a friendly welcome in a beautifully arranged and very clean house. Very complete with a lot of things thought of, time and attention is given to it. The late check out on Sunday at 5pm was also a luxury. Also quick response during stay. Would definitely recommend it!

The farm house is peacefully located. I spotted two deers on my morning walk with the dog. There is more than enough space for everyone. We were six adults and two kids. The house is lovely and clean. You feel home immediately and it has all the amenities. The beds were comfortable. One night we even had a chef cooking for us which was truly an amazing experience (miesvdveen). Gelly was very friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond sending us items that we left behind. Can totally recommend.

Great location surrounded by beauty. The hosts were incredibly friendly and provided local recommendations. Just enough distances from the city if you want to check out Amsterdam or the beach, both about 40-55 minute drive depending on traffic. House had everything we need. Great fenced yard with view of canal.

The apartment in Noordwijk was perfect for our stay! It is very clean, cozy and lovingly furnished – you immediately feel comfortable. The location is great, the city centre and the beach are easy to reach by bike, and bikes are even directly available. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly. Overall, a great accommodation for a relaxing holiday on the Dutch coast – we'd love to come back!

We immediately felt at home in this great accommodation! Mia made it easy for us with her hospitality to feel right at home right away. The accommodation is a gem, the garden a dream! For us as a family with a small child (4 years), a perfect place to relax, start excursions and just breathe! You can feel the love for detail in every corner!

We had a very lovely stay in Jisp with Esther and Marc. Spacious accommodation in such a peaceful location. Our hosts were fantastic, so accommodating and helpful. We made the best of the weather with several days of cycling and relaxing. Public transport is excellent as to be expected. We would love to come back and explore more of North Holland.
