The Slaapsoof is a contemporary B&B, in the middle of nature reserve 'De zeven gaten'. In addition to tranquility, space and nature, you will also find the hustle and bustle of nice cities nearby. With the beach and forest 7 kilometers away, beautiful cycling and hiking trails and the friendly Westland atmosphere, there is actually something for everyone! Here you are a farmer on an arable and livestock farm. The ultimate place for a few nights away from the hustle and bustle, where you have a cozy home at your disposal. Welcome to Friese Wergea, located within cycling distance of Leeuwarden, the Alde Feanen National Park and the water sports village of Grou. Welcome also to our old farmhouse, where part of the former stable has been transformed into a charming B&B. It features unique décor, with plenty of art on the walls and a well-stocked bookcase. Stay on a (care) farm with cows, horses, sheep, chickens, pigs and dogs. The B&B is unique. Come and enjoy the National Park, the beach, the sea and the city of Haarlem, which are all just a stone's throw away, and Amsterdam, which is only 25 minutes away by train. A fantastic place to unwind and enjoy the sky view from bed, whatever the weather. Rural and yet again close to the village. Horseback riding is not possible, but of course pet and visit!

"The old meule" was built in 1877, which we turned into a cozy bed and breakfast. Completely in style, equipped with kitchen incl. oven, induction cooking plate, fridge and dishwasher, 3 bedrooms ( 1 equipped with sink and circulation of the mill), shower incl. rain shower, separate toilet, smart TV and WiFi available.
