Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Optionally, the hot tub can be booked for 35 euros for max 2 consecutive evenings. Every new guest gets clean water in the hot tub! The Veluwe with many cycling and hiking routes is about 1 km away. It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

It is a wonderfully cozy cottage within walking distance of the bustling & picturesque center of Voorthuizen. Voorthuizen is the perfect gateway to the Veluwe because of its convenient location. A good base for many hiking and biking trails and there is plenty to do in the area.
