Holiday houses in Alkmaar

We went on vacation in Holland and stayed at Judith's house. The whole time she was very attentive to us in case we were missing anything we needed, something to eat or whatever. He brought us food in abundance and he was always really nice to us. The house is great and we were very comfortable. Thank you so much for everything Judith!

My partner and I spent five nights in the cabin and were absolutely in love with the place! The cabin is incredibly cozy, and with a lot of personality. It was clear that Han has put his heart and soul into it and we loved it. The location is superb, quiet and within walking distance from the lovely Alkmaar although we very much preferred to stay in and enjoy the cabin and sorroundings, as well as the very friendly animals. Last but not least, Han is one of the loveliest hosts we have ever met and could not do enough for us during our stay, even kindly offering a fascinating tour of the 1632 mill! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

An Airbnb as one would like to see, next to somebodies own house, some small talk, decorated but not too much.

We thoroughly enjoyed the place. It is located in a quiet and idyllic location directly on a small canal, with easy access to the nearest cities Hoorn and Alkmaar as well as the beach, which can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Especially the large bathroom with towels and bathrobes as well as the cozy living room and kitchen convinced us. The bed was extremely comfortable so we slept wonderfully. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed, got a small tour of the horse farm and valuable excursion tips. Also on departure, the owner inquired about suggestions for improvement, which was very attentive. We can fully recommend this accommodation and would be happy to come back!

Very nice comfortable place with all the necessities including towels. Breakfast was varied and served at the requested time 😀 we also had a good time with the set of shuffles on site, and all in a beautiful environment 🐐

A beautiful, modern and very clean place to stay. We felt very comfortable. Rural location, but in a few minutes in beautiful Alkmaar or also in a few minutes by the sea. A day trip to Amsterdam is also easily doable. Therefore, an ideal place for us with great opportunities and short distances. Location great👍. Four are also doable for a long weekend, but otherwise something for two due to the size.

We stayed at this beautiful holiday home with 8 people for two nights, and it couldn’t have been better. The house is spacious, well-equipped, and has a cozy atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing time with family or friends. The location is quiet and ideal for unwinding, yet there are plenty of opportunities for walks and trips in the surrounding area. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully furnished. A special highlight was the excellent communication with the host—friendly, helpful, and reliable. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back! What a wonderful apartment! Right in the center of Alkmaar, so everything is within walking distance . The apartment itself has all the comforts. Lovely sofa, beautiful kitchen and good bed. Really nothing to criticize and definitely recommended if you want to relax and enjoy everything Alkmaar has to offer. Especially around the holidays, with all the beautiful Christmas decorations, a pleasure to watch the life of the city pass you by.
