House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and comfortable. A five-minute walk and you are in the center of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a nice, large playground, the "OKB". The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and opposite the house. Free parking within walking distance. Center: a 5-minute walk Beach: 30 minutes by bike/15 minutes by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.

Beautiful vacation home in a quiet area located on the North Holland Canal. The rustic character of this house fits well in the area. In the front garden, there is a beautiful chestnut tree after which the BnB is named. From under the tree, you have a nice view of the canal and the meadows and dunes behind it. All the ingredients for a wonderful and relaxing stay!
