Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

Tatjana is a very warm hostess, she showed us the house and gave us many tips for the area. Our 3-night stay at Tatjana's house was very nice. There was nothing missing. Communication was also flawless. Tatjana reacted very quickly and you felt very well taken care of. The location right next to the lighthouse (good orientation aid😊) was simply fantastic. It was very quiet and yet you were 2 minutes from the beach or the shopping mile with many shops, restaurants and cafes. We were also very happy about the private parking space. We highly recommend this sweet accommodation and would love to come back.

Our stay in this house was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We especially enjoy the tranquility of the environment and its excellent situation to visit Amsterdam and the beautiful surrounding villages. The host was very friendly and attentive, with immediate response and giving us many recommendations to see and how to move around the area. No doubt an experience we would not repeat. I was really touched by the host's kindness. Thanks to the host who came out to greet me in person and warmly welcomed me when I checked in, the start of my trip was even more pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable, so I was able to sleep deeply, and the cleanliness of the entire accommodation was very clean and great. The stay at the kukel was after our wedding and we were able to enjoy our fantastic day in our bubble. Everything you need to really unwind. Great in nature and completely private. A fully and attractively furnished B&B. From a nice kitchen with plenty of materials at your disposal to a sparkling clean bathroom with a wonderful rain shower. The bed was wonderful and the jacuzzi and swimming pond are a cherry on the cake. There are also two bicycles available for you to use free of charge. In short, a fantastically cared for b&b. The AirBnB is super modern and perfectly equipped! The hosts are super friendly and are quickly available for questions. You will also receive some recommendations in advance. We had a great time! Haarlem and Amsterdam can also be reached quickly by car or public transport.

We spent three days with Yvon's (and her neighbor's) cats in her (or probably their) thoughtfully decorated guest apartment. After a warm welcome from Yvon, we were immediately greeted by the man of the house and one of our new temporary roommates, Dix. He is incredibly trusting from the first minute and made sure to pay us a visit multiple times each day to get his dose of head scratches and belly rubs (if he allows it). The entire place was spotless, we hardly even noticed any cat hair. Same goes for the large bathroom with a nice rain shower. The mini fridge was a useful addition. As if all of that is not enough for the great price we paid (less than any of the hotels around), Yvon prepared a delicious breakfast every morning, including freshly made waffles, coffee and tea. She even went out of her way to ensure we'd get the eggs cooked exactly the way we preferred. Whenever we will make another trip to Noord-Holland, this is absolutely the place we'll consider first.

The three of us stayed there for 4 nights and felt very comfortable. Communication with Jesse was fast, friendly and smooth. It is a bungalow at the back of the house with a small private terrace. The location is optimal if you want to explore the surrounding area. The beach is 5-10 minutes away by bike. Shopping is also nearby. Leiden is only a good 10+ km away, Amsterdam can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.

It is really a great location in the middle of a beautiful villa district just outside Amsterdam. Nevertheless, the city centre can be easily reached by bus. Perfect for us as guests who travelled by car. And saves expensive travel costs, saves expensive hotel prices and is still fast in the city centre. Everything is very lovingly maintained in the middle of a beautiful garden. A great one-room apartment. DAX is a great host who responded very quickly and very informatively and gave really helpful tips.

We loved our stay at Huis te Krommenie very much. We were warmly welcomed by Bauke and Jeanne and received clear and nice information about the history of the house (a former GP practice) and how the atmosphere of the B&B was created. In addition, they gave us nice tips about the area and good eateries. The bed was lovely and also the "old" shower was surprisingly pleasant. We really enjoyed it and have absolutely no complaints or comments. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this stay!

I highly recommend staying here! We loved our stay so much!

We were able to spend a week's holiday with our 1 1/2-year-old son at Leah and Tom's and would have liked to stay there much longer. The two have a wonderful, cozy apartment and a fantastic garden that invites you to linger and was a great place for our son to romp and explore. Both in the apartment and the garden, you immediately notice that a place to feel good has been created with a lot of love. There was even a lot of toys for our son. :-) In addition, we want to say one more thing: We have already used AirBnB many times, but we have never had such great, friendly and helpful landlords like Leah and Tom. They were always there to help and advise (especially when it came to tips for activities with our son) and there was always time for a private conversation. Incredibly lovely people! We would have liked to give more than 5 stars! :-)

Paulien and Pim's Airbnb was so beautifull! We loved it. And not only did it look fab, it was a really comfortable and relaxing place to spend time. We recommend this pleasant and comfortable accommodation where we had a great stay. We were very well received with very useful tips as a bonus! The accommodation is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to the city center.

We highly recommend this AirBnB, it is one of the best that I have stayed in! The accommodation itself is beautiful, Mikiel built most of it himself and it is finished off to a very high standard. The decking area is just beautiful, perfect for having our morning croissants from the local Bakery and lovely to sit in the hot tub after a day exploring. The living area is spacious, the bed comfy and the shower worked perfectly. There were lots of little touches which were so thoughtful and my friend really appreciated the gift left for her for her 50th birthday, again our hosts went above and beyond. Our hosts were responsive to queries and flexible as we needed to checkin a bit later. The location was perfect to explore Amsterdam via train and we went to Zaanse Schans by bus which we caught at the top of the road. The houseboat is situated in a beautiful little town with good restaurants, the best recommended by our hosts. Don't hesitate to book this gorgeous AirBnB!
