Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Umhausen

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely 4-bedroom house! The location is peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing, yet conveniently close to shops and amenities. The garden is beautiful and well-maintained — we especially enjoyed using the BBQ and spending evenings on the patio. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, great for cooking and gathering. The host was absolutely wonderful — very responsive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!

We had a great stay in Gallzein! The cottage is quietly located and perfect for a few days of relaxation in the mountains. The equipment is basically completely fine, only in the kitchen we would have liked a few more bowls/functional pans. But absolutely not worth a point deduction, you could just bring them yourself next time. A car is mandatory and to get from A to B or to go shopping, but that's normal. 😊

Franz was communicative and friendly. The place is modern and kept very clean. The kitchen is quite nice. The beds are comfortable and the porch gives you a nice view with sounds of wildlife. Would definitely stay here again.

Our whole family loved it, the countryside is especially beautiful, with cows🐑, sheep, the whole grass green oil, and the snowy mountains in the distance, which can't be enjoyed in the city. The hostess was very welcoming and waited for us in the yard in advance. The house is big enough for us to be active, if it is winter, the wood fire is burning and feeling the rural atmosphere of Germany, it must be nice. The location is good, it is only half an hour drive from Shinchan Castle, it is very convenient to come and go, the nearby town is about 7 minutes by car, there is an Aldi supermarket and gas station, it is also very convenient to need supplies, the key is that the town building is also beautiful and very clean.

Everything is just clean and convenient. Sigrid is super friendly and is available always for any queries. The cake was absolute nice gesture! The games room was a pleasure for a big family like ours on a rainy day. There is nothing to complain and can only recommend others. We would absolutely go there again and can give nothing short of 5 stars.

We were in a very large group in the house for a winter vacation and everyone had enough space and retreat space. The location of the house is really perfect. Behind the house is the forest for walking/tobogganing and in front of the house is the place. The kitchen and bathrooms are visually outdated, but absolutely functional. The kitchen will be renovated soon. The house has a great panoramic view and is in the sun most of the day. There are SO many things for kids, it was really convenient.

Everything worked out great. Beautiful cottage. Just outside of Maurach. But everything was very easy to reach on foot (restaurants, cable car, ski slope, bus connection...). House was very well equipped overall. Everything was available. Cozy bedrooms and living area.

We had a lovely week. It was clean, the decor very nice, we had everything we needed. Kathrin was within easy reach.

Vlad is a great host, and the place is neat and tidy, on a walking distance from the bus stop for the aki buses. We are deeply thankful for the chats we had with Vlad and for his hospitality. We missed the chance to grab a beer or two together, we will do it next time!

Great place to stay, kitchen had utensils and cookware for us to use. The bathroom and shower are very nice. Great view of the mountains and close to the old city. Definitely worth the stay.

Important practical information not listed in the listing: Bus 8 from the main road leaves every 15 minutes to Sankt Anton. The free ski bus stops 100 meters from the Nasserein lift. It is just over 1 kilometer from the home and down to the bus stop, but you can park your car at the opposite stop where the bus stops when you drive home from Sankt Anton. It's about 200 meters between the two stops. The free ski depot that comes with the apartment is staffed, where staff are standing every day for skis, boots and ski poles and hand it out again. The ski spot is located 100 meters from bus stops and there is direct access from the shop up to the Nasserein lift.

We visited for the 2nd time and it was great again. The apartment is quiet and you can get everywhere quickly by car. Gladly come back.

Very nice apartment to stay, it was everything what we need for short stay. I like that owner provide coffee, tee and other needed in the kitchen small but important things.

Easily one of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. The apartment is super clean, well laid out, and has everything you need for your stay. I loved the privacy window covers. The host was very responsive and quick to answer any questions or needs I had. There is a small grocery store next door that has plenty of food if you’re looking to prepare your own meals. If not, there are restaurants all around. The apartment is well located and has small hiking trails around the neighborhood to explore. It’s also 10 minutes from Val Di Funes, 20 mins from Seceda, 30 mins from Odlegroupa. Check-in was super easy and there is plenty of free parking. If I come back to the Dolomites, I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We were extremely satisfied with Irmgard's place, everything was sparkling clean, in the kitchen and bathroom everything you need was there. We were very warmly welcomed by Florian, Irmgard's son, and the two made arriving, arriving and checking in as easy as possible. In addition, the two provided us with a nice booklet with recommendations and also personally gave us tips. The location is excellent in my opinion, as the apartment is on a side street, which was very good for me, as I like it quiet for sleeping. Downtown is about 10-15 minutes walk and the whole area is very nice. In addition, we were able to use the beautiful garden - a dream. So I 100% recommend the apartment. We immediately felt comfortable in the apartment. It is simply but very nicely decorated. The two bathrooms are a dream and the beds are heavenly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment is centrally located (yet quiet) and is a great starting point to explore Merano and the surrounding area. We got tips on places to eat and shopping. We thoroughly recommend staying here

One of the best Air B&B locations we’ve stayed at. The view was incredible and the town was great for outdoor adventures. Hiking and skiing from the front door. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day. We’ll be back!

Modern, comfortable accommodation (1 adult + 3 children) and very well maintained. I especially appreciated the Smart TV, the effective WiFi and the dedicated parking. Finally, Thomas is a responsive and available host. Recommended!
