“Bergkhof is that one special place where you never want to leave. Everything was amazing. Nice and helpful staff, great food, beautiful surroundings and the hottub with the amazing view over the mountains and stars is a nice extra. Florian, the owner, really knows how to add that something extra to hospitality and making it a special place. You can tell that he really thought about how to make it a place where people can rest but also can connect with other gast. It's a beautiful walk to the place and indeed a little bit hard work as wel, so our advice just don't take to much stuf and enjoy the walk, believe me it's totally worth it! And it is also an advantage, where you can find such a beautiful place that is so quiet because there are no cars? We definitely will be back next year!”
In the woods, close to Innsbruck, you'll find the romantic and cosy cabin "Villa Kranebitten". A perfect place to relax or to start hikes from into the mountains. Very good public transport connections to Innsbruck (train, bus).
“Emiel’s cabin is a great place to stay! He welcomed us very friendly and also gave advice where we could best go hiking. There are also many maps in the cabin. The place looks exactly as in the pictures and is very spacious for a cabin. As the cabin is in direct neighborhood to other houses, we didn’t feel isolated, but still separate. It is also very easy to reach the accommodation by train. From the train station it’s only a three minute walk (maximum). We can really recommend this place!”
An original troad box, converted into a romantic hut. Ideal for 2 people who want to enjoy the quiet country life.
“Beautiful hut - just to fall in love with! Our stay was magical! The whirlpool is really a highlight, also the way up to the bed, where you have to climb a bit because there are no real stairs. The hut was sparkling clean and the house power is an absolute angel. What a kind, charming woman. The breakfast is only recommended and absolutely cheap for 8 euros per person. As a cat lover, we were also very happy to welcome the cute cats. Gerhard is a wonderful host and a great person, we felt in great hands! The only thing that disappointed me was the fact that prices fluctuate so much. I checked the prices very often before booking and decided to go for the cheapest days because it is a lot of money. A few weeks later I see that it is suddenly cheaper by almost 50 euros a month in the same month. I thought that was a shame. Nevertheless a very nice stay!”
