Vacation rentals in Trelleborg Municipality

Departure in the morning from Malmö to reach, on my comfortable Ford Mondeo SW or on a minivan, the first birds of prey’s watching area, about 25-30 minutes from the city. We will drive around to look and photograph the various species of eagles in the area (sea eagle, golden eagle and imperial eagle) where there are also other birds of prey (buzzard, red kite, peregrine falcon, kestrel and others) and numerous other animals (roe deer, fallow deer, deer, pheasants, hares and so on). It is also a wonderful district with lakes, woods and hills which gives the possibility of great landscapes photography. In the early afternoon we will head to another nature reserve, crossing the landscape of the Skåne county, to reach the golden Eagle nesting site. Here we can take a little walk to admire the place and other animal species. In the late afternoon we will drive back towards Malmö, discovering again lakes, hills and forests with the possibility of further close encounters with local wildlife. Please note: Right now is a large group of sea-eagles in the area we will visit, see them every time I go there! I will adapt the tour in a way to give you the best opportunities to see the animals based on the season and my knowledges. Would you like a shorter experience, maybe only 4 hours? Contact me anyway. I'm going to take you on a walk through Malmö, from Möllan to Lilla Torg. Come and get familiar with my city! Together we will walk along the streets and parks of Malmö. We meet at the ever so vibrant market square Möllevångstorget and from here we will walk and visit parts of the city which are normally not seen by visitors, but also iconic landmarks of Malmö. We will start off at Möllan and continue our way to Folkets Park. From there we will cross Triangeln and further down through the Old Cemetery, the Library and Casino. Then we will walk through the park Mölleplatsen to get a glimpse of the old windmill, Malmö Castle and the fish market at Fiskehoddorna. From there we continue to Ribersborg and the beach before we head to Västra Hamnen and the iconic skyscraper Turning Torso. Along the way we pass by the skate park Stapelbäddsparken. We will continue through Malmö University, The Central Station and Stortorget before we end our journey at Lilla Torg, the other vibrant square worth to mention in this city which is filled with restaurants and cafés. Along the way I will tell you about Malmö's past and present and show you how to have a really good time in Malmö! Other things to note The walk will take approximately four hours so bring good walking shoes and a bottle of water.

I will take you for the walk in Malmö and show you wild plants that can be used as a food and medicine. I will teach you how to identify these plants and how they can be used. I will bring with me a picnic basket with small snacks made from plants you will be getting to know.

I'll pick you up at 9:00 am at your preferred location in Malmö. With my car, a comfortable and spacious Ford Mondeo SW or a minivan, we will drive for about 40-45 minutes to our destination where we will leave the car and start a walk in the beautiful nature reserve, the oldest in Sweden, surrounded by the sea. While following the long peninsula we will have the possibility to spot some of the birds breeding in the area and when we will reach the end we will approach a large amount of grey seals. To do not bother the animals we will keep a safe distance, but I can assure you that 50/60 meters are close enough! We will spend some time watching these beautiful mammals, inside or outside the water, while I will give you some information about them and the area. I will give you the possibility to use my professional gear and I will help you to optimise your photographic skills. Then the pictures will be yours and yours only, I will send them to you in a couple of days after the experience. Depends on the weather, by the sea in winter can be cold, after 1-1,5 hour we will start to go back to the car and then to Malmö. Please note: the area is continuously changed and shaped by the water tides and the weather, and the seals adapt to it. The place where they are outside the water can change and it can be farther. Other things to note In case you will not find availability on the calendar for the day you would like to join me in this experience, contact me anyway: I could manage to have the availability of a minibus and so hosting more people.

I will come and pick you up at your preferred location in Malmö. Then we will drive for about an hour to Kullabergs's nature reserve. When we arrive, our hike will begin down to Nimis! After we reach Nimis, we will have a typical Swedish fika. Nimis is a site-specific work of art by Lars Vilks at Håle Stenar in northwestern Scania. It consists mainly of several wooden structures, erected by driftwood, planks and tree branches. The work is unlawfully placed in Kullaberg's nature reserve, which since the first version of the building in 1980 has led to regular legal proceedings between the artist and the County Administrative Board in Skåne County. The construction of Nimis began in July 1980 as Vilk's "revenge on the sea" after he nearly drowned, but also as a comment on the prevailing art trend that "nothing was permanent". Other things to note It is a pretty challenging hike down to Nimis so bring good shoes!
