Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Rushcliffe District

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated barn house in Melbourne. As a family of four, it was perfect—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and so peaceful. We all slept soundly in the cosy beds and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Eve had left some lovely surprises for us, and our children were delighted to relax in the garden with biscuits and squash after the journey. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine out there too—it was the perfect start to our stay. There was plenty to keep everyone happy, from books and DVDs to a great TV setup, and we made full use of the spacious kitchen for family meals. The location is brilliant too—within walking distance of several pubs and cafes. We had a lovely dinner at Harpurs and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Birds Bakery. The property felt very private and secure, and Eve was a fantastic host—warm, helpful, and responsive. Thank you, Eve, for a perfect stay—we’ll definitely be back soon!

Communication with Barbara was excellent. She was very friendly and accommodating. She was not put off by the fact we were attending a festival! The place was so charming and we loved saying hello to the dogs next door! Great location and we would definitely stay again. Really comfortable beds, lots of space and perfect home from home vibe! We stayed during Download festival and was bliss to be 40 mins away from the festival and come back to good beds and a lovely kitchen. Really easy to find, really clear instructions to access and make the most of the space, and communicative host

Excellent accommodation, had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay, place was spotless with a huge warm bath! Peaceful location with plenty of parking, perfect. Jayne couldn’t have been any more helpful or responsive, a true example of how an AirBnB host should be.

I had an absolute incredible experience at Denise’s place, from the moment I arrived, everything was spotless, stylish and thoughtfully prepared. Check-in was easy. The space itself was better than the photos- beautifully decorated and cozy. The bed was super comfy and I appreciated all the little touches that made it feel homely. I couldn’t ask for a better experience and would certainly return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend this little gem for anyone visiting the area.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The flat was clean and quiet and beautiful. The location was great, right in the centre of Ashby. All the instructions were easy to follow for self check in and I really appreciated the update to say that the flat was ready before the check in time.

A great flat in the heart of rothley village. Close to a range of shops where everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The host was very prompt when messaged and checked that we had arrived and were happy with everything. Only draw back as mentioned in previous reviews, the stairs to access the property are quite steep, and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We will be booking again.

Steve the host is always available and answered any questions very quickly. The flat was very clean and everything described as it was. Location was as we wanted close to restaurants and bars everything within walking distance. As it says it next door to a bar (cocktail bar) and is loud but we was fine with that.

We had an amazing stay at Bradley East Wing. The cottage was beautiful with a lot of attention to detail - fresh flowers from the garden were a fantastic touch. A very peaceful stay. Anna & Ian were very hospitable & no query was too much. We are very much looking forward to a future stay

Great place to stay overnight. Easy to the city centre. Can easily imagine staying longer for a solo traveller, may be a bit small for a couple to stay for an extended period.
