Holiday rentals with lake access in Rushcliffe District

We had a lovely family break at Caroline’s Lodge. The setting is beautiful and we really enjoyed the access to, otherwise, private land for lovely walks and visiting Staunton Harold courtyard. The lodge itself had everything we needed. It is very comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of crockery and utensils for 6 people. Many thanks for the welcome cake and bottle of wine in the fridge they were a lovely touch which we appreciated. We have had family breaks like this over the last three years and Caroline’s place is the best so far. We would love to return.

What an absolutely beautiful house, I could have stayed forever! The house is in such a peaceful area, there was plenty of parking space and it had great public transport connections. The beds are so comfortable it is unreal. I can't recommend this lovely house enough, if it is available when we visit again next year I will surely be booking to stay here.

This air b&b was such a great getaway, especially as we brought our 2 dogs and were extremely pleased with there being a beautiful walk right across the road, as well as being able to get to Sherwood Forest even without transport. The place itself was so quiet and the movie screen outside was such a lovely touch. The place was clean, the dishwasher made washing up simple, and the beds were comfy (the pillows were a little too big for me, but that’s just preference😂) I would definitely recommend this place as well as re book in the future. Cory was extremely responsive, helpful, very welcoming, and made us feel comfortable knowing if we were to have any problems he would do his absolute best to resolve the issue, luckily we didn’t have any problems and the trip when as perfect as could be!

Great location, two minutes walk to Rutland Water. Cottage was very clean and tidy. Charlotte lived close by so was able to give us help if we needed it. She suggested a visit to Stamford which we did. Oakham is close with plenty of places to eat. We had access to her lovely garden and so were able to sit out there.

Jane's place was a great base for my visiting family / friends in Nottinghamshire. Jane couldn't have been more helpful in making my stay smooth and enjoyable. I'd highly recommend!

Adam's place was excellent value for money. The location is within walking distance of the city centre and the area is nice and by the canal. The room was lovely and clean, as well as a comfy bed. It was a nice stay and the property was easy to find with clear check-in instructions. If Ia am in Nottingham again, I would definitely stay here.

Lovely room in a lovely lodge. The room was spacious, the shower was great and the bed was comfortably. I was able to walk to the city centre and train station in around 15 minutes, so it's accessible to get around. Adam is very responsive - I had a problem with the radiator and he got back to me immediately about it and was fine. Check in was easy and clearly explained. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I would come back :)

Adams place is very close to town, the room is spotless and has all you need. It was easy to find and parking my car was easy and safe, right next to the building. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be staying here again

Joanna was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Quick responses and very clear instructions on arrival. The apartment was absolutely beautiful with amazing views across Rutland Water. Felt extremely relaxed and comfortable during the whole stay. We will definitely book again very soon. Thank you Joanna 😊

Check in was very straightforward. The room was clean and pleasant, with a good sized en-suite and fridge. In a really nice area right by the castle.

Super stay in a great location. Adam was a great host and gave us all the information we needed for an easy check in. I was visiting warhammer world and it was so easy to walk out the front door, left over the bridge then turn right along the canal for a lovely 15 minute walk straight there. Will definately be staying again.

Absolutely beautiful house and perfect host. location was stunning. first time we've taken our dogs away and they loved it and were nice and secure. We had some lovely walks around the area. only thing I would change would be the sofa as was to low back for us (just personal preference) and add a mirror to the bedroom. We will definitely be back and have recommended to our friends. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home 🏡

Lovely, peaceful place on the water with plenty of geese and ducks to keep you company. Great restaurants nearby and easy access to nearby walking trails. A nice little shop for immediate needs like beer, wine, crisps, and bubble wrap for packing. We'll be back!

I really enjoy staying at Tolu’s accommodation, found the place clean and tidy, room smelled so nice, clean shower, parking spot great, location is very calm, will definitely come back at some point!! Highly recommend

Really enjoyed my stay here it was everything I’d hoped for and more… I had time to reconnect with nature and my family and disconnect from my phone. Jane and her family were very accommodating and friendly throughout. Felt completely relaxed throughout and right at home. Highly recommend C Brumpton butchers for cakes, pies, preserves and all round good fare. And Naturscape Wildflower Farm and Tea Rooms - handy stop for a cheerful lunch on the trip home. Will be back!

Another lovely stay in a really comfy room. Nice quiet location. Parking by the house was full but it was easy to park on the main street less than a walk up to the house. Warm comfortable bed and super fast WiFi. As always with booking a room in a house it's a gamble with who is staying in the other rooms, First time I stayed everyone was quiet at night this time one of the other guests was watching TV quite loudly at 5am. overall pleased with my stay and I'd be happy to come again.

Very good let us check in early and very responsive lake was full of carp managed to get around 9 between us in only a few hours would definitely recommend 👍👍
