Welcome to the beautiful wine village of Großkarlbach and to our small guest apartment. Idyllically located by the stream, these two rooms offer an ideal starting point for a small tour through the Palatinate - whether for hiking, drinking wine, celebrating a wedding or for a family vacation. Within walking distance are restaurants, wine bars and many wineries and culturally Großkarlbach also offers a nice program, such as the Long Night of Jazz. Families with children are very welcome.

The approx. 50 sqm large apartment can be reached barrier-free via only 1 step. Parking is possible directly in front of the house. It was completed at the end of 2017. The furnishing is modern, convenient and very cozy. In the living area there is a comfortable spring core bed couch; the lying area is 1,60 x 2,00 m, so 1 - 2 more people could stay for a small extra charge. The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village very quietly near the "Dackenheimer Liebesbrunnen".

Ihr wohnt in unserer ruhigen Gästewohnung. Vom Schlafzimmer aus könnt ihr auf die berühmte Wachtenburg schauen. Für Weinfreunde ist Wachenheim ein Muss. Die Unterkunft eignet sich besonders für Kurz- und Aktivurlauber. Räder können gerne mitgebracht und sicher in unserem Hof untergestellt werden.

The historic winery was built in 1864 and has been renovated building by building for several years. Since 2018 it has been called "Grünwalder Hof". At the same time, we are also gradually rebuilding the viticulture removed by the previous owners. Meanwhile, the entire water, electricity and gas supply has also been completely renewed and a low-temperature condensing heating system has been installed. We (Toni & Ulrike and our lovely Golden Retriever Anton) would be happy to host you in our small cozy guest apartment. The apartment is a separate part of our house. It is situated in the calm and very natural district Ziegelhausen. While being surrounded by the peaceful nature of the Odenwald, the touristic city center of Heidelberg can be easily reached at almost all times with a 15 minutes bus ride (normally 6 rides per hour).
