Idyllically located by the stream, these two rooms offer an ideal starting point for a small tour through the Palatinate - whether for hiking, drinking wine, celebrating a wedding or for a family vacation. Within walking distance are restaurants, wine bars and many wineries and culturally Großkarlbach also offers a nice program, such as the Long Night of Jazz. Families with children are very welcome.

Together with our two children and two rabbits, Roman and I live in the old natural stone house with a beautiful garden and rent out our adjoining apartment overlooking the countryside. Since we like to travel with Airbnb ourselves - preferably to the North Sea, as our furnishing style sometimes shows - we are now looking forward to guests ourselves! Ihr wohnt in unserer ruhigen Gästewohnung. Vom Schlafzimmer aus könnt ihr auf die berühmte Wachtenburg schauen. Für Weinfreunde ist Wachenheim ein Muss. Die Unterkunft eignet sich besonders für Kurz- und Aktivurlauber. Räder können gerne mitgebracht und sicher in unserem Hof untergestellt werden.

The historic winery was built in 1864 and has been renovated building by building for several years. Since 2018 it has been called "Grünwalder Hof". At the same time, we are also gradually rebuilding the viticulture removed by the previous owners. Meanwhile, the entire water, electricity and gas supply has also been completely renewed and a low-temperature condensing heating system has been installed.
