Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see small birds, squirrels, and raccoons, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy 'living'. At the gazebo by the stream, you can enjoy a BBQ or campfire without worrying about the weather. It is ideal as a base for hiking, fishing, paddleboarding and golf in the green season, and as a base for winter sports in the snow season. Ikusa Village, a small farming village in the middle of Nagano Prefecture. I moved from Tokyo a few years ago and started a private inn using a separate building from the main house. The entire building is rented out to one group per night. Pets are also welcome. We do not provide meals, but the kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, so please feel free to use it, just bring your own ingredients. There is a shower room, but no bathtub. Also, during the winter season from December to March, the shower room is closed to prevent freezing. Please use the nearby hot spring facilities. We do not provide toothbrushes or razors, so please bring your own. Wi-Fi and parking are available. The main house next door is an old house built about 150 years ago. My husband and I live here while renovating little by little. I want to drink while baking something in the hearth! You can also experience the old private house, so please feel free to ask. We have two dogs and a bunch of cats. If you have allergies, please be careful. The toilets are handmade flush toilets and compost toilets. We do not use synthetic detergents, deodorants, insecticides, etc. on the premises.

Please note that the heating facilities in this guest house are mainly kerosene stoves and kerosene fan heaters. We also have electric appliances, but if you use too much, the safety device will work (smart meter) and the electricity in the house will flash, so please do not use a lot of electric appliances at once. An earth leakage meter is also installed.
